Western Nations should be capable of holding this at bay, however, the Sub Saharan and African countries would be further decimated: malnutrition and poor hygiene alone set the scene for a major continental epidemic. The so-called 'Spanish Flu' killed off more people than the entire 'Great War' between 1917 through 1921, a Pandemic that the 'First World' Nations need to be reminded of.
