Don't take this the wrong way, but how can you be so fast and then struggle for podiums!? You must have at least half a second on me in pure pace.
Yh, racedepartment does something awful to my race pace really..Still don't agree that TT doesn't say anything, just an excuse TT noobs use to justify their awful TT times.
But then your TT pace also fits together with your one lap pace = TT is not pointless.. Can we agree on that?It depends, in 2011 I used to be really quick on TT and spend a lot of time on it, my Monaco TT lap afaik to this day in the dry was the fastest legit no-assist lap in the world, faster then Noble, faster then Cobra, then in 2012 I lost my 1 lap pace so I gave up with it and found it pointless cause my race pace was so good.
Yeah probably, the thing is that I can only really practice about one hour per week for the race. That's why I use the racing line...but if you didnt, would you be as good?

TT definitely improves quali pace but I've found it can sometimes be detrimental to your race pace. Just out of interest what times are you doing at the start? Because if your as quick in the race as in quali I think you would have to expect low 37s on standard, probably pushing 36s. Then you really would dominate! But then your TT pace also fits together with your one lap pace = TT is not pointless.. Can we agree on that?
Not me...I've been quiet for a reason - cus I suck at this track lol
It's anyone's race. I just want a half decent finishing position then onwards to more testing tracks.
All this dry practice can only lead to one thing............wet race
If you're going to go from 13th to 3rd in two corners then we may not wait for you
Here is mine, or close to it:
Setup:
4/4 wings
4/5 arbs
2/2 height
5/3 springs
Gears: 1st is about 3 or 4 clicks from full left, then they step right one all the way down.
Camber/Toe: -.3.50, -1.30, full right
Do we really have to do one of those?@Oli Peacock What track are we going to use for our pre-season race?
