Thanks to Nick for the invite as i had problems to join the session so i restarted router and Xbox and after 3 Gav invites i got in phew ... I suspect the problem was on my side. But luckily all ended well.

Q: 8
R: 2

Strategy: Fuel standard Tyre: O O I W W I

DId not practice on the wet. Was quite confident to be able to make a good race in the Dry. So after all i am very pleased to have finished second even if it at the cost of Karl and RIchard.

Quali started with 7 laps of fuel and made my time during my first attempt. Was sure to be able to improve but i was to close to Peter, tried to slow down a create a gap before the start but did not work. Should of pitted for fresh tyres. When i saw that from P3 to P8 was just 7 tenth and from P1 to P8 1.3 i told myself well game still open.

At the start i kept position after a good jump from the line and i almost gained 2 position. After that and a couple of mistakes by the drivers in front i was P6 behind Nick. Think I was faster so started to close the gap try to stay close as is really find it hard to overtake here. Unfortunately I was too close in the breaking area trying to get the inside at T8 I hit his rear tyre make him go wide and got a penalty (drive through) for that. Pitty i was having fun keeping the pace of the 3 cars in front.

From there i was making up positions until i founs Peter in front and i took me ages to get past LOL . He was holding really well on his primes.

Then the SC came in around lap 16 just in time to make me pit and rejoin the pack in P5.

After the restart i was not risking and was happy to follow having heard the rain was approaching. Did some purple sectors behind Gavin before and MItch afte when the rain started to fall. After having Pitted something happend to Gav which gave me P4 and then found myself in P3 just after some turns without knowing why.

From there i had a lonely race as on the first set of wets after some laps i was struggling a lot and Mitch just pulled away. Was better on the second set as i was keeping the gap around 20 seconds. Form there basically I brought it home even if I had a momen with Nick LOL will show in the vid.

Well done to Mtich for the win and Mark for his 3rd place. Very sorry for Richard and Karl having been "bollarded" by the game.

Thank you all for the fun, keep racing! See you in Hungary

To whomever this applies:

I held someone up immediately after the hairpin towards the end of the race while it was still wet. I was getting console lag and was unable to do anything. When I regained control, I was inside of two cars and had to get out of the way for two people that were one lap ahead of me. I'm not sure who it was, but sorry about that.

Stewards have (finally) come to a decision:

Incident 1 : No further action : Ben did not necessarily inquire about this incident but we realize this was a light and harmless bump

Incident 2 : No further action : Ben's worn tires entering turn 1 meant early brakes and caused John to have to evade. As everyone continued on in their rightful positions and gaps, there is no need for a penalty.

Incident 3 : No further action : This is a simple case of too many cars in one space for the game to handle. Jeremy misses his braking point a fraction which just pushes Besty in to Ben and all continue on fine although Ben is a bit wide. Gareth goes for a pass and lag takes over and cars go everywhere. Can't put blame on any one person in this situation.

Incident 4 : No further action : It is apparent that Jeremy was going for the pass on Ben up to the line but Ben turns just at the wrong moment that sends him bumping in to the barrier and running out of fuel in the process.

Thank you all for trusting in the stewards this season and we look forward to next season where Gareth will be coming in my place and perhaps making a few changes down the line!

One word.... Bollard. :(

One word, co*ksuck&ng gl!tch.....this happened on another track. Bahrain, right?
Your worst race was my best. Ying to your yang. I'll more fully describe, but, as you can see from the videos to come I was uber consistent, besides fr the second lap, first turn spin-o-rama (was trying to let someone pass, a Mercedes I think...sorry). This kind of consistency is rare for me.

And in the wet, the track was a DREAM to drive. The big hairpin before the flat-out chicane almost makes me want to check out drifting. lol. Seems like I hit it perfect every time, and right in line for the following straight. I know there were a lot of disconnects, but some (I'm proud to say) did it on their own. HIghest finish yet in a Cup Race.
Part 1

Part 2 (not quite to finish)

I had a balanced race, I knew I was not very quick as I just moved on using Logitech G27 from keyboard. On keyboard I loved this circuit but some how I was not able to push as much on wheels with same setup and balance. I practiced a lot before the race and it helped me to maintain my speed during the race.

It was unfortunate that many lost due to connection and some code master pole bugs, I have observed that glitch so I was extra careful over the corners.

It was a good race for me and my team mate as we stand 1st and 2nd, felt like Force India scoring podium finally. Hope we gained lot of points and stepped up in the leader board!!!!

I am trying different setups on G27 but still not feeling very comfortable. I am very serious driver who enjoys the beauty of this sport. I want to get some expert advise who is using G27 and explored a lot. It would be great if there should be some Free practice session on which we can discuss setup.

This is a very good event that I am enjoying and would like to thank all the organizers for a making it an interesting and fun event for rookies!!!

A.K.A >Hotshot<
