So, having 2 disconnects at the same time wasnt enough to warrant a restart?
What would have happened if 4 or 5 had DC'd? Would that be enoght to convince the host that there was a problem, or would you just carry on with 3 in the race.

In reality, the only person with a real chance of not falling foul of the DC rule is the host?? Open to all sorts that isnt it?



This is turning out to be a bit farcical really.
Not only do we have mismatched drivers in each league, we have rules that just do not take into account common sense.

Rules are quite clear there as we only just updated this from the last race. As for giving priority to the host I dont believe this is the case, if it want for the misinformation that has cropped up in past results at the end of either qualifying or the race then I would have dropped out as thats what the 5 race drop is all about accomidating.

Im not sure about the mismatched drivers in each league, yes its not perfect but its bloody close and we have plans for next season in F1 2011 regarding the placements of everyone.

Any chance you can tell us what rules you dont like as they are there for guidance atm our first try at a league and updating as I told you from as close as the last race.

An eventful race for me. First off I'd like to apologise to Chris Bell, I misjudged my braking point on turn 4 on the first lap and knocked into the back of him. My fault completely, not intentional but my bad.

Had a really good little battle with David, catching up and overtaking on lap 3 when he went wide on the bridge, then he performed a lovely little move on my outside on turn 2 of lap 4. I stayed behind him for another lap then on the bridge again I passed him on the outside to keep the inside corner on the next turn and pulled off the pass.
The next lap David just misjudged the braking point and nudged my rear right tyre going into the right turn at the end of the bridge. This sent my car sideways, front half on the track , back half off it and Jean-Francoisse came into me round the corner where our cars didnt seem to want to seperate.
I lost my front wing and got a front right puncture, pitted in lap 5, was lapped by lap 10 and again by lap 24. The incident ruined mine and Jean Francoisse's race, but it was just a racing incident. No malicious intent by David.

Yeah good preformances could mean a slower car, i enjoy this than any other league i do. Because it makes it all so close between everyone.

Yeah Chris I couldn't avoid you, funny thing is I almost did, but we touched a bit causing me to spin out, but then your car kind on climbed on mine, and just stayed there. From my point off it really strange, I was under your car...freakiest crash I had yet ! That left me with a rear tire puncture and a damaged rear wing, I pitted to change tires but the mechanics couldn't fix my rear wing. That really unbalanced my set up and I had numerous spins, losing the back end frequentely.

And then I lost my XBL connection around lap 23, to finish off a horrible week end for Lotus ! But still had fun. :wink:
