this time it was bad race for me

i didn't know that this problem exist in the game - engine failure?

from the start it didn't have power and was 'cutting' on every turn exit and when i needed the power most
my start wasn't bad, i managed not to get involved in the 2nd corner incident although i was bumped from behind by someone
then i realised its gonna be hard race as i started to loose engine power from the first lap, after my pitstop on lap 9 i got drive through penalty for pit lane speeding, i took my penalty on next lap and came out to start the chase for midfield runners,
after about ten laps they started to pit and on lap 20 or 21 i was on P4 knowing that guys behind me are on brand new options,
they catched me quickly as my engine wasn't in right mood,
then disaster, mistake 6 laps before finish and i lost my front wing in the 'snake' section, going to replace it i went to fast in last corner and my car went straight into the wall, 185km/h when met the wall, 85% demage...

thx Lee for hosting the race at this time as i could get home from work with no hurry

At least that explains why you were slow through the previous few corners before i tried to get up the inside of you at turn 4, I've never heard of that problem in an online race though.

i have to apologise to Bartek for my slightly adventurous move on the 3rd or 4th lap going into turn 4, you seemed to be slower through the previous few corners so i got alongside you going into turn 4 and you turned in and we both spun. I lost my front wing and had to pit for a new one, hope i didn't cause you any damage.

no problem mate, i was trying to leave enough space for you but we stil went out, i didn't damage my car there only Lee was able to pass
me, anyway i couldn't catch him because of that engine, but now i start to think that maybe it was fuel system problem?

That's a strange one, Bartek. It's not possible it was an internet lag issue? Once or twice I've had situations where the car didn't respond to my inputs, such as gear shifting. :-\

I forgot how much happened in the first couple laps, I had to review the recording. Looks like I turned into someone, probably Italian, at turn 3. Honestly not sure who was at fault there (probably me), but I lost the spot anyway.

sorry tracy, i missed this post for some reason?? of course you can be a 'stand in' pilot, i've added you to the list. at this stage there appears to be everyone starting as per the sign up list EXCEPT Rzzzzzz. i have offered his much sought after mercedes seat to those in front of you but i will update the final start list in the next few days. but keep practising at those 1st four tracks because you never know...

p.s. andrew is bringing the 2 seater FI so there may be a spot as his passenger?

nice vid piet yes a typical valencia start. i wonder what will happen with the REAL f1 this weekend...should be interesting.
can't believe it mr bortz...you get tapped from behind into the wall turn 2 (luckily sideways), drop down the field to what...5th, 6th, 7th?? and still claim, i think someone said, a comfortable victory against some real quality opposition! what do you charge for driving lessons??

I love this track and I especially loved this race guys. I had a really superbly start. A few touches in corner 1 but that's formula 1 I guess. At lap 9 I had to pit ( started on option ) but pushed to hard in the 1st corner and hitter the wall and lost my front wing. That's why I was driving so slowely. 10 or 15 laps later I hitted the same wall at the same corner and lost my front wing again so pitted and changed back to option. 3 laps before the end hitted the wall again but now it was at corner 11 I have to be more carefull in the next race but it was such a great experience. I've battled alot with Derek. I'm sorry when I touched you at the bridge but I've let you passed immediately. Had no feul issues at all. drove 20 laps on standard and 9 laps on fast and yellow indicator was not even lightening so I'm happy.

Embarrassed myself I fell off track so much! just kept spinning when powering down outa corners. guess i wuz tired too (mad week at work). That's my excuses in! As i told Dylan not sure I can make Sunday as out at gig all day, drink will be taken. Think i'm bad when tired? haha.

If i see the start ,I think impulsive and andrew took a risky start there,when I started to break I saw them like a bullet passing me
then andrew starts breaking and impulsive could not break on time to avoid him ,we realy need to take no risk at the first corner pls,better break abit earlier then to late or we gonna get a mess.

ps to piet,that little collision should not make you stop racing,you should finish the race
