I hope that you all had a good race. for me, I had 4 wing changes...

I do appologise for the restart, after all the organising, I found that my wheel didn't work in game so had to restart it, thank you all for being patient.

I think I qualified 4th and when the game went to load for race it locked up....( new nvidia drivers that appear not to work well )....so I guess you have to finish to get points.....

Have just logged on to the TT leader boards for Singapore.

Did you guys realize that Mr. andric94 and Mr. Indreaksan is the two fastest guys i the WORLD(with no assist), and number 3 and 17 overall.

Very nice guys, cant imagine how you pulled of those two laps... YOU ARE NOW MY NEWEST F1 HEROES:woot:

(Posting race report here. Can move it to press thread if required).

Virgin Race Report Montreal.
We had 9 starters for a combined league 1 and 2 race.
Qualifying: The Virgin Team went with primes and a setup refined in “the simulator” (GP Mode). We were P5 (+1.54s) with several teams running primes for quali and stint 1.
Early Laps: A good start saw us gain a position in turn 1 and a couple more in the first lap and we were running in P2 by lap 2 but with a great battle occurring as 4 Racers: FigjamRACER, No Scope, R Petressis and H3MB3R fought over 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] place. This tight battle went on for 9 laps until No Scope (running options) pitted for primes. One small spin exiting turn 2 saw us drop from P2 to P5 in an instant such was the closeness of the battle.
The Middle: Karl was 30 sec up the road but things were exciting in the battle for podium places. r petressi spun into the wall in and had to pit for a front wing and took fresh options around lap 16 meaning he would need stop again. He rejoined and made good gains on the battle going on for 2nd place using his fresh options. Dylan in the Lotus had about 3 secs on FigjamRACER when we had to hit the grass to avoid a Renault sideways on the track at turn 7-8 chicane. The game issued a drive through for an illegal overtake. Dylan pitted for options at about lap 24 of 39, FigjamRACER waited till lap 28 to pit for options hoping for a tyre advantage as Dylans’ faded in the final laps. We were 8 sec adrift of Dylan after the pit stop and needed some luck. Dylan served a drive through exiting the pits about 2 sec behind FigjamRACER and it was “game on”.
We were in 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] place, had fresh options and confidence of holding off Dylans’ attack was high. For the last 6 laps we battled no further than 1 sec apart and mostly .3 sec apart. The Virgin had good pace through sector 1 and 2. Dylan was struggling with low top speed due to gearing and on the hairpin with worn options. Dylan however had a superb line through the last chicane and for 5 laps would negate the gap built up over the lap. We could not build any gap, and The Virgin Team contemplated the last lap implications of this as we realised of the whole lap, Dylan was closest to us on the line!
The Finish: We felt that the lead had built to a safe level on the home straight and Dylan appeared to be about 30 metres back. Took a low risk approach though the final chicane and on the run down the straight unbelievably saw a British Racing Green nose cone appear off the starboard bow. Dylan had made a stunning last gasp lunge through the chicane and had momentum. Pulling of a great move he took 2nd place by the narrowest of margins. Less than 1/10[SUP]th[/SUP] of a second after 45 mins and 39 laps. Karl had showed superb pace and was 50 sec ahead in 1[SUP]st[/SUP] place.
It was a great race held with competitive clean racing and a good spirit.

I get this sometimes. When it happens use GFWL to contact the host and send you another invite. This normaly works. From what I can tell this happens when a mass invite is used although this may not be the only reason. Hope this help and good luck to everyone!

Regarding the spreadsheet, with Open Office there is no need to edit it in photoshop. I would assume Excel can do the same, but as I havent had a copy of excel for a few years now, I dont actually know....

To add to what Justin said tho, (as trying to get the image to copy over is a pain)

Merge the cells that contain the image to 1 cell (so that cell is the whole width of what we see)
Insert the image from file.
Anchor the image to the cell
Using zoom functions for accuracy, adjust the size of the image by dragging the edges to fit the cell completely.

Then send the image to background (to undo this bit you would need to bring up the draw menu & choose the select tool otherwise you just wont be able to select the image again after you have sent it to background & saved)

Once this is done, all you need to do is select the cells you want to copy, chose copy, & then paste as new image in your photo editor. (Now I use Paintshop pro, an old version, so I would assume Photoshop is miles better & can do this with no problems)

I have suggested these extra steps, because trying to get the image to show up is a right pain in the backside...

Here is a quick example of the result... I just selected the cells I want to copy (& chose copy) & then "paste as new image" into an image editor, resulting in this, with no need to scroll about trying to line things up or edit them or resize or anything else etc...
just paste & save

Now 1 final point, are you ok with excel formulae? I ask this because I am a bit of a whizz with excel formulae.
I would assume that all you are doing is entering the 96 bits of data (race & qualy results for each of the 12 cars in all 4 leagues, 2*12*4=96) & then have excel do the rest for you automatically.
If you are compiling each sheet manually, then I should be able to help save you some time.

Kaido Pärl / kaidoparl / any car available.
I can be reserve if anybody will not be able to enter the game.
As I had problems joining one game yesterday ("connection failed" - while accepting invitation), I don't know if I can set it right tonight. But I would love to try.

Red Bull Race Report.
Bad turnout meant racing with the bigboys!!
Quali - knew I was gonna be down the grid so went for primes. Crashed out on 2 ditterent out-laps so did a slow banker and made up 2.5secs next time round only to spin out on last turn. Dead last!
Race - Fantastic start (found a quickstart set-up that worked a treat) put me up to 4th/5th by end of 1st sector. Great battle ensued (see Figjam report) and got up to 2nd when david spun & Dylan avoided, pulled out 2 or 3 sec's before I hit the dreaded wall and limped back for new nose. No option but options but made great speed to catch to 3/4th (think they pitted actually) fight b4 I had to pit for 2nd set of options. Bellmond got ahead and I chased him down, we had a great battle for last load a laps swapping place a few times b4 I spun again!
Great race, suprised I was keeping up with Dylan etc, I just lost concentration.
Great racing tho

Qualifying - Q went well, had good pace, did 4 flying laps in total on 2 sets of options, went 5th on the first set, came back in and after a tweak of front wing it gave me enough for 4th.

Race - Early laps - Got off the line well, help position though the first corner was on the inside of Karlos but he had the better line out of turn 2, I tried to cover figjam on the inside of turn 3 but he went round the outside and slightly cut the corner. I held 4th for most of the first lap took a small nudge on entry too the hairpin. Had a big spin at the dreaded wall of champs but managed somehow too avoid both the walls and all the other drivers (luck more than judgement) that left me in last place around 10s down from 8th, managed to keep a consistant pace and passed a couple of cars after they had accidents/spins etc, was up to 7th, managed to catch Thehemps and started chasing down Hammer, passed Hammer at the hairpin and pulled a good gap before pitting, came back out and held position, the rain started but was only a quick shower, after many laps on my own i passed Petressi in the pits, he came out around 7s behind but i had a half spin a couple of laps later that put Petressi was now only 2.5s behind and lapping quicker with only a few laps left i decided to go defensive which helped Petressi catch the last 2s. He had a couple of moves on both sides we where side by side thru turns 3 and 4 but i had the inside line for 5. With a couple of laps to go i defended the inside line going into the hairpin but Petressi got better drive out and down the straight he was catching, i made my move to the inside, Petressi went too the outside and we were side by side again at the 1st apex of the final chicane, we touched and i think Pet took a lil too much out of the 2nd apex which took him onto the kerb and spun him out, relief, turned engine down and brought it home, great race good clean passes, cant wait for valencia!! :D
