I agree with that, not a problem really, i was surprised too when there was, to me at least, unknown names popping up in the list but, hey, a full grid is always better and more fun

About the race, i have done very few laps on this track but after tonight i will, it was a really fun track do drive on, surprisingly easy to learn imo. Just need some more ( a lot more)

training here to be more competitive.
First time racing in the Sauber too, quite a nice car i think, but the last 10-12 laps or so it was trying to overtake itself with the rear end.. lol... and this even before the tires got bad. Maybe because the fuel load going down and altering the balance, not really noticed that in any other car...

Or, it's me that's crap at driving :wink:

As always, your highlights are great to watch, gives a touch of extra realism to the game i think

I was on my drivethrough there and then i had to pit again to replace my broken wing, so i lost a lot of time...but i was having fun, until it all died on us.

So, it was Andrews fault that the game got a hickup, he was having a cup of coffee with his friends up on the wall while parked in the pit lane. :wink:

Sorry for the little push andrey... I saw a gap and jumped in it..... I was faster than you but you were driving very good defensive, i wanted to overtake you as quick as possible nit to lose to much time on leaders
After that push which was not intentional I waited a bit to let you pass again but you took so long and meanwhile others were overtaking me....
But hey I was taken out in first corner mayhem aswell going from third to ninth or tenth place... So this happens to all of us

reviewed my recordings and from what I can see it seem it was DFpredator pushing Marine into the pack at the first turn. I did'nt catch the contact between them though as that happened behind me, this is just what i see as they jet past me. Will post up the vid when I'm done editing it so you can see for yourselves.

Don't know what happened there (forgot to brake? lol) but there was no way in hell that corner can be made at such a high speed with which they were zooming past me, not kewl man, not kewl. We're supposed to be racing clean out here, and being extra careful at the first corner is a must for that to happen. In 50% races you'll get plenty opportunities to overtake later, just stick to your line, be wary of the concertina effect (you will HAVE TO brake earlier than usual if you are in the pack) and be cool

Steve don't forget he may have locked up hes brakes.... i have done it alot of times and have innocently hit people by mistake, locking up your brakes makes you go straight and still fast without having control.... which is exactly what happened in Qualifying i lost 2 front wings form my brakes locking up.

DFpredator isn't a bad race driver, it must have been a genuine mistake

Yeah im sure it was an honest mistake on the start - sometimes the 50 - 75% fuel load and concertina effect can catch you unawares.

If you watch the start of my Montreal video, you will see dFP is a bit keen there too, but its a learning curve.

Like Scott - im looking forward to tonight. Just hope I can keep my eyes open long enough, been a loooong day.

I'm sure it wasn't a premeditated ram by predator like you see in random online races, and might indeed be a case of brake lockups. But even an honest mistake like locking up the brakes means you were simply too careless and overoptimistic and this can easily be avoided.

Just wanted to again point out just how important it is to be extra cautious on the first turn for all of us. I don't want to single out predator for this one at all, i'm sure y'all have done many clean races together before, and everyone can have rough contact during a race, **** happens fast after all

Just stick to your line unless the person ahead REALLY missed his start, and don't make overoptimistic moves, plenty of time in 50% races to do a clean overtake later. Imo only the 2 on the front row are really in a position to safely battle for position, I always just try to slot into the train and stay out of trouble if i'm not on the front row.

I fully agree with what you are saying in your comments guys, sometimes it just happends, so no hard feelings from me at all

I have found the races here at RD to be incredibly clean and fun, people gives way when in qualifying and when beeing lapped (not that i get to many of those, usually it's me getting lapped...) :wink: and in general just people like me who play the game for the thrill of doing fair F1 racing.

I'm really sorry i can't be there for tonights race in Canada, love that track, but give the Wall Of Champions a big hug from me....hehe...

Indeed good video but the connection problem im not so sure I was still connected to about 4-5 ppl in game and driving when I got out.

We will all have to get together again just for a few laps and ill pit the force india and see if it happens again, it may of just been a coincidence that I was driving the bugged force india.

It was my fault , or more prehaps my carpets fault, I can steaming in as you said on the inside hoping too nip past any wide runners and then because I pushed so hard ont he pedal under my feet the box slipped away from me and i had too put my feet behing the pedals and the last minitue too pul it back so I do apologise and it was as most have said "a racing incident" im not one of these dirty onliners who ram people off the track a the first oppurtunity I belive in fair racing so I apologise if i compromised you running :]
