The full 2019 Formula One grid has been completed in the official F1 2019 videogame - check them out in all their glory ahead of release day.

Dominating the head of the pack in a Mercedes, fighting for the podium places in a Red Bull, scraping into the top 10 with an Alfa Romeo or lapping hopelessly at the rear of the field in a Williams, these are the choices that await the gaming public when F1 2019 releases later this month - and now we get our first look at all the cars in game and ready to go.

Much of the preview footage from the new game has included either placeholder models from F1 2018 or this seasons cars in the early stages of development, and now, with only a few short weeks until release, Codemasters have dropped images of all the modern cars set to feature as part of the vanilla content of F1 2019.

All the current teams, drivers and cars will be present in F1 2019, with the early season liveries and designs included within the game. Watch out for future updates however, as Codemasters plan to keep on top of livery and bodywork changes as the season progresses.

I don't have anything against tobacco advertisement in F1, in fact I think it was great because it brought money like nothing else. So I don't even feel that bad about those companies finding "creative" ways to advertise their products again.
I totally agree on what you say.

What do the physic's and FFB feel like in this game? The last one I bought from this series is F1 2013. I couldn't stand it way back then. If you guy's were to compare the 2018 / 2019 Physics and FFB to something like AC , RF2 , AMS , RRE , ect.......how would you rate it?

It is a Codemasters simcade for a broad audience, don’t expect the physics to be like any of games you mentioned and you might enjoy F1 2018. However since you could not stand 2013 you will probably not be impressed with 2018 either. Sure a lot has changed, the engine, physics and ffb, but apart from the graphics it isn’t a groundbreaking shift, you’ll recognize all of these games - 2010 to 2018 - as coming from the same Codies F1 tree. For most players that’s what they expect, for some it is a game breaker.

IMO it is not a bad thing, a good game franchise depends on its core staying fundamentally the same, while its outer layer gradually evolves. Codemasters have done a very good job balancing the requirements of a mainstream seasonal (motor)sports franchise with the demands and expectations of their target audience. That’s an audience spread over multiple platforms, from casual players with controller (on PC even Keyboard) to those with expensive direct drive FFB systems.

On top of that Codemasters deserves some extra praise for not going the EA FIFA route with microtransactions. Sure we have DLCs, but no one is forcing us to buy them and they are hardly game breaking if you don’t.

For a mainstream franchise we could do a lot worse. Heaven forbid EA picking up the F1 franchise.
