I guess if you want original McLaren livery, you'd need non-patched game files. And that would be the pirate ones. Or you can try making it.

Hey guys just tried to edit the Red Bull livery / decals but when i put the edited file back in the right folder the car is complete invisibal. If i edit a helmet, i have no driver in the car as well. Does someone have the same issues or knows what i am doing wrong?

save your texture in DXT5 format and .sfc.tga.dds files save as DXT5_NM, or atleast its how i do it and it works so far..

having little problems with stripes but yes, i cant seem to get the number the same pos as real life, only same pos as it is on black mclaren livery

Another good mod would be to have the correct colours on the 2014 McLaren, and the Williams team for 2014 too, we have the car mod just need the team colours.

All 2014 cars have the pretty same texture as they had in F1 2014.

The McLaren isn't correct though, its the pre-season livery that never raced, need for example the Melbourne livery on it which raced
