F1 2014 WIP Thread

In fact, F1 2014 modding was extremely limited. AI is complete sh$t. In fact, changing the handling, in order for the AI to be fast, you need to manually adjust a huge number of parameters. If someone makes a good 3d model of a modern F1 / F2 car, I will be happy to import or help with advice.

I update according to the requirements and desires of the plebs. However, I won't change noses or rear wings - I just don't think it's necessary. I wanted to add steering wheels, but the 3d models I wanted to take just disappeared from Sketchfab.
it's not necessary man, just the 3d model is enough. and the gameplay too, it can be the f1 2014 default, as i use. i think what i say, it values for most of people here

you have done 1 model of noses and wings, and this is perfect. if i have time i can edit to have more options of noses, as i did in MCL35M. your job was wonderful on that 22 chassis.

Trying my first livery on the MCL35M chassis. Still need to learn creating specocc files, as i want to make the car to have a matte finish.

Guys, i created around 30th cameras on Melbourne track, so you can switch between them in anytime. It's hard, but if you like it and make a mini-trainer for Cheat Engine, then you can place cameras on the map with less work. My idea is that we can follow the accidents and events behind the player camera.

But if anyone has any ideas on how to switch onboard cameras between AI drivers, I'd really appreciate it. Unfortunately, AI target switching only works through cutscenes... It sucks that we don't have the opportunity to watch other drivers crashes, only since 2015 game. I don't want to waste time on 18 other tracks....

That's a great step forward! This would help a lot for a photo mode!

This is a static camera that is embedded in a file cameras.xml, so it acts exactly the same as regular cameras system for each car.
But, it has its disadvantages:
1. You will have to overwrite the file for each track cameras.xml , theoretically, you can make a regular launcher and select them in tools. For example, if you are going to include them for Melbourne, you will need to replace the file cameras.xml inside cars/*team* folders. And so it is every time, for the desired track. Since the camera position has its own coordinates for each track.
2. You can't rotate and move the camera without the Cheat Engine. It would be great if someone knew how the pointer works, but I can't do it, besides, it doesn't work correctly in replay mode.

All these problems could be solved with the usual target switch, instead of the player - so that you could choose an AI camera. But unfortunately, I do not know such methods. One moder said it was possible, but it was back in 2014, so it's problematic to find out.
