I just downloaded the mod and damn these cars are fun to drive. I just found one thing my steering wheel is very light when i drive it. I dont have this problem with other mods. But i hope that we have soon a race with these cars.

Light steering wheel come from the brutal force from the back. It took me some time to tweak a setup, with which I was capabale to control these beasts. Massiv understeer out of the box (if I remember correctly).

A big part of the reason that the FFB is so low it that this mod uses:

If you guys would like me to make a RaceDepartment patch and you can just get everyone to download and use it like they would a track....

It is a all or nothing thing tho, as the file that needs to be changed is checked when joining a server... saying that I have not seen a server up in months running this mod, so .... let me know...

A patch for it would be a good idea, need higher steering lock really - only goes up to 23.

Prez has been in contact with me and we will work up a re-release to incorporate quite a few new things :)

Thats true mate!

We aim to make it skinnable for a better online experience and incorporate other minor tweaks...new sound, better ffb support, etc etc
 
Progress so far...

This is where I'm at so far...

I have not finished the customskins, so don't test that yet. But, have re-worked the following:

Created individual car models (required to skin them)
Aligned the feet closer for brake and accelerator
Modified tyre model
Modified Physics
New Cams

The above are mostly still WIP...

Correct usage of the "wheelcolor=" is to add an integer between 1 and 9 inclusive.

now tight in the front end and loose as in the rear, can power slide / drift up to 3rd or 4th even with tyres at optimum temps (unlike before, where they got too grippy when warmed up)... All test was done with 100 & 120% FOV, G25 running 540 degrees and 27.5 degrees in-game, in practice pro-sim mode, with default setup... Tracks tested on were Curitiba 2007 and Imola.

I'll make up some base setups using the different final diff settings as these can't be adjusted in-game and will upload later...
