What is a good time in Kyalami in wets ? I only managed to practice 30 minutes on this track with wet tyres under "middle" rain and felt like a turtle doing 1:55 for average

Don't get stressed about lap times in the rain. Your time depends on factors like rain intensity and track grip, which are somewhat volatile, especially with a time factor of 2. I had every possible lap time from 1:50 to 1:58 in rain practice, so don't worry.

Its hard to say, I was on for a couple practice sessions and my times varied a lot in the wet depending on the temperature & the amount of rain

Quick cheat sheet for tonight
(not gospel but just going off my findings during last minute testing)​

• Stick the whole amount of fuel in the tank you think you'll need to finish the race. You want to minimise the amount of stops, if you have the right tyre after an early stop to finish the race you don't want to then pit again for fuel
• A wet track (two lines of rain in the icon) needs roughly 1.5PSI MORE than a damp track (1 line of rain icon) for the same track temps
• The game will pop up and tell you when the cross over period has happened for tyre choice
• Aim for around 27.7PSI dry and 30PSI Wet hot pressures
• As a general guide, if you can see spray off your tyres you're better off on wets UNLESS the weather is forecast to dry up soon
• Use a magic 8 ball
• Pray
• Don't turn up, grab a beer and save yourself the stress

Been a hectic week for me, I don’t even have a setup going in to this but it’s a good break from what’s been going on.

Just planning on mirroring my pit setups I had the last wet race, not ideal but it’ll get me roughly there.

Back to somewhat normality this week though

Rumors were cooking the last days as there was spotted an unknow Aston testing in Kyalami. But today a press release from akephoe racing team annouced the change. No reasons for the change were told to the public, but from people close to the team we heard that the team and driver weren't satisfiyed with the support from Lexus/Toyota in the last weeks.
We will see if the change is permanent and if the akephoe team can connect with the aston to the success they had with the Lexus"

I'm really annoyed that I have to write this.

Every race there always seems to be a collison at T1 / T2. I saw someone completely disregard the golden rule in another drivers accident.

Yet again another dive bomb, this time as I am attempting an overtake or putting the driver in front of me under pressure. Spun around yet again, damage yet again. The driver did obey the golden rule but 2 races ruined. No patience or race craft whatsoever.

Maybe I should have just done a LFM race instead today.
