Anyway, I am so looking forward to these 2 series joining forces, it will surely be a blast, and nothing to loose, except some higher costs of traveling between continents. But companies like these are, it will surely not stop neither of them not to race.
Super GT really is a superior car series (actually it` more like a formula car (open wheelers), they only look like cars

), so DTM will that become as well. Need to buy a ticket for a race here in europe next year definitely.

I wish the same aswell but unfortunately it won't happen because turbocharging has dominated the world of engines (not completely but for most parts including racing).

I'm really excited for this. I never got the admirations for the old DTM engines anyway. They didn't sound like V8s, they sounded like a Honda with a fart can.

I'm sure the new engine with more power will make things even more exciting. Looking at the GT500 car I'm sure it will. I hope they can reduce the costs for teams to be less manufacturer dependant because imo the heavy manufacturer involvement with team politics and all has always been a downside of the series.
