AC DRM Revival @ Riverside Int. Raceway Long - Fri 13Apr18

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
I will take a Puriano 3H 2 if I may. Thanks (haven't really tried anything else but I have to go with what Dirk says) Besides I will copy Scott since he obviously knows what he is doing :alien:!
Oh I wouldn't go that far, but I do appreciate the vote of confidence in me haha I just picked it because it had the highest HP of them all lmao I do recommend some adjustments for drive-ability though. Bind the turbo +/- to your wheel for quick adjustments, stiffen up the rear suspension, lower the diff power, and have a lot of fun! I'm just better in cars with manual gearboxes is all I think, feathering the throttle and such, it's fun for me.

So I guess we're going to end up with a field half full of the same car? :/

Come on! Someone grab up a car that isn't on grid yet! MORE VARIETY...not like we're points racing here :whistling:

There is some variety there already - we have a few Ford Capri's, a few Carma's, some Porsche 935's and even a few TBD's (I heard those where just the thing to have back in 1981 !!!).

It's a 1 hour race with manual transmission 700 horsepower 800kg GT prototypes around a PROPER racetrack.
If not after T1 at least close to the first pitstop on worn out tires the cars themselves will make for proper "variety" ;-)

… also never underestimate the wall at the last turn - LOT's of variety going to happen there ;-)

I am sooooooooo looking forward to this one. I would love to help you out with signing up with another car but it just isn't possible - I can only drive a Porsche.

They must have been drinking slightly:whistling: on that meeting where car names where decided .
Monard / Monastair :O_o: -I don't have a clue  when people choose cars in this thread :D.

Admittedly just mouthing off. Quick scan of the car selection list and off I went :roflmao:

Would be nice to actually be able to get IN MY CAR on the server though. 1 Puriano 1H 2, and I go to test the thing and, wouldn't you know, someone is in the car :cautious:

ETA: These car names still have me all mucked up. Cannot equate the strange names with the proper car for the life of me.

Can I join with a Carma 1? (is there still time?)

Hey Guido, the 1st post in this thread lists all important info.

Check the password for servers and Teamspeak (mandatory for the race) from the first post in this thread here:
https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/racing-club-teamspeak-passwords.10977/

Make sure you adjust your Assetto Corsa user name to your real name as here in the forum and do the same in Teamspeak for the event.
Check that your Teamspeak is all working well - the mods announce important messages during the event through Teamspeak.

Most important, ENJOY !!! ;-)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!

I knew your feathery butt would not make it to the get a good beating. I still remember the last time we raced you got spanked so baaaaad, you still air it out on your morning commute horsie ride ever since:

Seeing as these cars are so vicious and we have a specialists signed up my only reason to sign up was to beat your feathery butt, now that that nekid, hairy thing is out of the race the only reason to attend it to stick with the Convicts sunburnt beach-bum.

That's the thing I always wanted to ask @InsaneOzzie :
seeing as you spend two thirds of your daily schedule BBQ-ing at the beach, does it not chafe to race a Gr.5 car for an hour at a time with all the sand, the spiders and the snakes in the

?

What I meant to say:
The Birdman is GONE, the race is still on after the British have surrendered !

Hey Allan, I wish you a great day with your daughter and a nice weekend - hope to see you back though you old bugger ;-)
