A brand new episode of Crashcast FM has surfaced. Maurice Zondag and Simon Smith take a closer look again on the world of sim racing.
In this weeks episode they interview a sim racing champion and Maurice reviews his visit to the Belgium race track of Circuit Zolder where the first ever iOpener Enabled FIA WTCC race took place two weeks ago. Note: Maurice impersonates a diesel powered engine very well.
Maurice got his own Dutch team F1Cast Racing in the Dutch League Benelux Racing Online, where he and 13 others drive in Porsche 997s and WTCC cars. Maurice also is one of the pioneers on the medium podcasting, being one of the first Dutch podcasters since 2005. He hosts amongst others the popular Dutch spoken podcast about the Formula 1, the F1Cast. In 2009 he drove for the FSR team Backmarker Brigade.
Simon is also the team owner of Backmarker Brigade, currently active in different international simracing leagues, both F1 style and Touringcars. And yes, that is the same team mentioned above where Maurice drove. That is also where these two crazy guys met. Simon also does the commenting during PSR reported races, so using a mic and telling his opinion isn't new to him.
