This happened to me and its because windows did an update and for some reason "sol" wasn't selected and when I did all went well. Just a heads up. Sometimes your settings get messed with after updates.

Yes I'm fighting trying to fix this. Windows did update, in the process it broke CM! Still trying to fix it. frustrating!

So I've been trying to change the tyres on the Mx-5 cup car in content manager and it wont let me drag and drop them to swap. Its just giving me the blocked icon when I go to do it.
Any advise on this problem? I have managed to change the tyres before but now it wont let me.
Also if anyone knows the tyre that would be closest to the Nankang AR-1's that would be a massive help. trying to get my setup as close as I can to what we race.

I'd suggest if you want answers make it easy for people to help by providing as much info as possible. Such as brand of wheel, drivers, has it ever worked, Content Manager or default launcher, etc? The more info you provide the more likely you'll get an answer.
I need help. Due to a new SSD being installed, I've had to reinstall Assetto Corsa (plus other games) via Steam. Unfortunately, all my games run fine except AC when I try to add Content Manager to it (runs fine without Content Manager). Like the last time I installed CM, I followed the install exact instructions from the SOL install guide but this time... without success.
1. Download Content Manager and unzipped.
2. Copied & Pasted ContentManager.exe to the Assetto Corsa root folder.
3. Renamed AssettoCorsa.exe to AssettoCorsa(Original).exe
4. Renamed ContentManager.exe to AssettoCorsa.exe
Now, after changing to CM.exe to AC.exe, Content Manager's icon has changed (it didn't the last time I installed it) to the original Assetto Corsa icon. I can no longer start/launch Assetto Corsa, either through the new Assetto Corsa/Content Manager icon, its shortcut, or through the Steam launcher.
I've have tried a variety of steps, restarted my laptop after each step, included the Manifest.json file, but for some reason it just won't run. Replace the Assetto Corsa/Content Manager with the original AssettoCorsa.exe and it runs fine. I've been at this for two days... my brain is fried. What have I missed?

You need to select "Steam starter", its disabled for me, should be enabled for you
If it doesnt work, copy back original, and let CM do the renaming, then just hit "Switch to steam starter" ...

Nope, doesn't work. I've tried that and tried 'Run as Admin' but CM just doesn't start, but AC does on its own or via the Steam client.

I thought that I would re-download CM, run CCleaner, reboot then do a fresh install again. So I done a quick for search for CM on RD. On the first one I clicked they (Spor
) mentioned about AcTools Content Manager in their post, that is found in C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\AcTools Content Manager\ which is what was left over from my previous install (all my games are on a seperate SSD). I deleted the AcTools Content Manager folder and VOILA... SORTED 
But how much i need to donate to be "respectful" i was thing like a dollar cuz im currently going broke.
Hi guys thanks for the help! How do I get SOL to save the Clouds and Mist, Fog settings? I can save a config for the overall stuff and NERD stuff but the actual volumetric clouds etc, I have to set to the orange tick box every race... can I make them default? Cheers! *let me know if this wrong forum?
