Settings > Content > Show car previews in tooltips ?
Hey guys, when I install a new car or verifying steam files, the content cars preset I use resets to the original. When I am trying to change preset to many cars together, I choose to update preset, but there is no option to choose which one,. so it just updates with the same preset (stays the same) . Anyone knows how to mass change the preset?
I installed the wrong version of CSP but all sorted. ThanksDid you installed the "Custom Shaders Patch" (CSP) to go along with Sol?
when i use shift n click... there is nowhere to choose a preset, it says with previously used params, and stays the sameAre you talking about custom previews?
If so you can mass change them in Content > Tools > Update Previews.
In the car list view, you can shift+clic on cars to do some batch operations too.
YES finally ! 1000000000000000 thanks !!! I coudnt figure it out for so long...... I am gettin old!Choose a car then click on the small triangle at the right of the "Update previews".
Choose "Options" then your preset from the droplist on the new windows. Close it and the preset will become the new default.
Hi, do you also enable the macpherson setting as well? (TS PC me)I'm using a CSW 2.5 but I also had a Thrustmaster TS-PC for a few weeks, did some laps on a CSL Elite, had a G27 for a few years and occasionally driving a friend's DFGT.
So I have some comparison and experience.
Here are my recommended settings:
Assetto Corsa:
- 900°
- Gamma 1
- Scale 100%
- "Auto Adjust scale to match car's steer lock": off!
- Filter 0%
- Speed sensitivy 0%
Gain 60-100% whatever you like, I would probably recommend using FFB clip with dynamic OFF and selecting the "light" preset
- min force: 1.5% (to make the center a bit tighter
- filter 0%
Effects:
- Kerb 2%
- Road 5-10%
- Slip: for drifting 0%!!! For driving, about 20%
- ABS: 20%
- Enhanced understeer: off
- soft lock: off
- enable ffb post processing: off
- unlock experimental: off
- gyro: off
- damper gain: 100%
- min damper level: 0%
Custom Shader Patch:
FFB Tweaks: active
- More physically accurate gyro implementation: ACTIVE! It's awesome!
- strength: 25%
- range compression: 100%
- range comp. assist: off
- output real steering forces: off
Fanatec tuning menu:
- sen 900
- FF 100%
- SHO 100% (probably not supported on your rims)
- ABS: 95% (also probably not supported)
- DRI: -2
- FOR 100%
- SPR 100%
- DPR 100%
- FEI 50-80
- BRF: your choice
That setting only does anything if you have a car with such a macpherson suspension. I don't drive any car with it and I'm back to using CSP 0.1.60 so the macpherson option isn't there anyway.Hi, do you also enable the macpherson setting as well? (TS PC me)
The crashes sound very weird...I have to be honest, when I see your posts I do read them as a form of solid information - being a bit nosy, why did you drop back to 1.60, is it 1.60 doesn't have FB tweaks and you don't use it anymore. Just wondering as whenever I've enabled FFB tweaks on later versions of CSP sometimes I go over a sausage curb with it on and sometimes the games crashes.
