Sounds intresting. :p
I know a man who will deffinitly join and win since he got some row talent on this. :)

I know a good text "If there is a chans, take it" matches your driving preaty well Linus. :p

I have a prize to offer:

Free grandstand ticket and paddock pass to an MSA British Superkart round of your choosing in 2011. Includes food, drinks and alcohol, just bring a tent if you want to stay the whole weekend, or come on one day, doesn't matter. You will be able to see the preparation that goes into a Superkart meeting, and watch myself and my brother race, along with many other racing series (mostly BARC backed). All you have to do is come to the track and we will meet you at the gate.

Dates are:

Snetterton - April 16th-17th
Silverstone National - May 7th-8th
Donington Park National - June 11th-12th
Cadwell Park (British Superkart GP weekend) - July 16th-17th
Thruxton - Sept 3rd
Oulton Park - Sept 24th

Week 23 - Caption Competition - Poll

And here comes the poll again.

Since I STILL can't post a poll even after being given mod rights to the Competitions section (and neither any mods knew why or probably they didn't care about it), we will have to vote the manual way.

Voting Procedure.

You will have to PM me your selections before the deadline.

Please use this template:

The voting remains this way until the mods solve these issues.

Entry #4
"And just when it couldn't get any worse, the killer tomatos that had been lying dormant since the 80's launched their attack on the world. Their first victim, a 28 year old mother called Diedre with a pet octopus called Eric, on a tv game show who was swallowed whole. It was only then the rest of the set came to life, like some giant inflatable killing machine and finally there was reason why the game 'darts' had been invented."

Entry #5
"Dodgeball gone wrong!"

Voting Deadline: 28 January 2011

Sorry... I thought I subscribed to this thread, apparently I didn't.

Adam Eggbeer, you are the winner with 9 votes for track 3! Second place was jordangp with 6 votes for track 1, and 3rd was Kris Vickers with 3 votes for track 2.

I apologize for being somewhat late with this and somewhat disorganized. The next competition will be posted later tonight (US time), and it will be better!

Week 5 - Track Design Competition

Rules

1. The track must fit within the designated "theme". Any tracks that are too far away from the theme may be disqualified.
2. You may only use real tracks or locations as a base for your design if it is allowed (for this round, you must use a real location as your basis)
3. Unless otherwise stated, your track must be a circuit that would be suitable for "normal" racing cars (open-wheel, GT, etc.); no point-to-point races, dirt tracks, oval tracks...
4. You can use any kind of software, image format, diagram, etc. to make your track as long as it is easily readable.
5. All designs must be sent by PM. Any designs posted in the thread without permission will be disqualified.
(If you have any questions about the rules, please ask!)

Theme: Several street races around the world take place not on the traditional city streets or country roads, but on modern freeway interchanges. For an example, see the Omnitel 1000km [two separate links]; there are others, but unfortunately I cannot find them right now. Your challenge is to make a track just like that one, in other words, to make a track that uses freeways and their intersections.

Notes
1. Your track must use at least two separate freeways; no AVUS-type tracks...
2. You may add a small amount of additional road, like in Week 3, but no building a whole new track
3. It is recommended, but not required, that you make the track using roads somewhat near where you live

Deadline
: Monday, February 7 (2 weeks from now), at 11:59 PM GMT. Send tracks using PM!

Ok thanks, one final question is can I want to put text at the start and at the end so I've started it with 'RaceDepartment.com presents: The Grand Prix' And then I've ended it with 'Join RaceDepartment.com for more info on our club events and races'

Is this alright?
