Do you want to allow all assists, or just set ones, if so what ones?
Driving/braking line will be turned on as I use it.

How do you want to handle connection issues?
I am thinking allow 10 minutes for connection issues, so that is 1 hour in total, but I would like to hear your ideas. I will open the lobby 10 / 15 minutes before the event starts.

Gutted for Wayne missing out last night, these connections are a joke! Well done to everyone that raced. I don't think I saw any stupid maneuvers from anyone!!

Race 1: Started 6th and got to 3rd by 1st corner. Started to chase after Chris but followed him into the sticky patch and fell to 8th behind Tom. From here I had a good fight to regain my position. Tom made life a difficult for me for a few laps until he made a mistake at the long left hander, that let me through. Then by the first corner on the 4th lap I was back up to 3rd, but had a mission to gain any more points so I pushed in the hope I could get the fastest lap.

Congrats to Steve!!!

Race 2: I got a cracking start, but a couple of people had an incident that caused the pack to slow down and I got held up. This helped the front runners get away and again it was a fight to get decent results. Again I hit the sticky patch on the first lap!! Tom was defending well again, causing me grief until he made a mistake at the sticky patch. This released me into some clear air to try and pull back some time. I managed to get past Paulo who I think made a mistake somewhere, then managed to get past Steve for 3rd. Again the two leader were too far away for me to make an impact.

Congrats to Chris!!!

Looking forward to the next event because I've only won once!!

Have you tried without the force feedback on?
Yes, I've tried probably all of the options. Without pedals, force feedback with disabled and other options as well.
The good news is that today I bought another at auction (the same model V2 used). The new can not be bought anywhere :( . We'll see if that resolves the problem. And this spoiled I tried to fix it.

Congratulations to the winners. As I have a minute to see replays.

Race 1, got a great start from second on the grid, got stuck in the kitty litter a couple of times which lost me lots of time/places, then had a little bump with Ash, not watched it properly yet so not totally sure whos fault if anybodys but did feel hard done by, had a great chase with Tom whos made a slight mistake and i got through, was no where near my practice times but had fun,

Race 2 Started from 8th or 9th ish on the Grid, got a good start and managed to keep to the inside whilst all the 1st corner bumping went off, came out in 3rd, good run up the hill with Paulo in front and Karl jus behind, me and karl had a bit of a rub in the slow left hander about halfway round, he got passed a little later as i struggled to catch Paulo, I could see Karl and Paulo racing close ahead waiting for one or both to make a mistake, paulo got stuck in the kitty litter on the exit of the corner, i got stuck on the entry and karl was away, managed to pass Paulo into turn 1 and then it was a matter of catching Karl, distance was getting shorter and we where very close on the last few laps great race had fun, nice to be at the sharp end of the grid for once :)

If it was the bump I think it was then it may have been my fault, sorry!

Had two horrible races unfortunately. The first was due to about five mistakes in a short period - including one at turn one that battered my car, and the second was due to taking a huge shunt from someone on turn one that also wrecked the top speed of my car. I was quite confident here, but the lack of top speed took a good few seconds off my lap times and I couldn't do much after that.

I've not watched the race back yet, so I'm not sure I came across the front of whoever hit me at turn one, but it was a pretty big impact so I'm not sure I could have done much about it. Ah well, there's always next time!

Ash,

May have been me in Turn #1 in Race 2. I was on the inside and trying to keep out of the way (as started race 4th on grid due to reverse grid setting) and was expecting being over-run by those behind me. I lost control a little coming out of Turn #1 (got a bit fingers and thumbs with the controller looking for a gear) and as I moved right I felt the almighty bang... which I guess was you.

Nothing intentional from either of us, I'm sure, but is a shame when such a coming together hampers anothers race. I didn't help myself as a few laps later I missed my braking point in to Turn #1 and slammed in to the armco, which then left me struggling to get any pace from 4th gear as it wouldn't get anywhere near the red-line, lol.

Still all good fun (apart from the visits to the stixky gravel) and looking forward to next race @ Silverstone.

:)

Yeah, I had a look at the replays and there wasn't much you could have done about it. I probably shouldn't have cut across as quick as I did anyway.

Sorry about our coming together too, Chris. It was a weird one; I knew you were on the outside and we made contact while I was on the brakes, but your car seem to catapult away from me and fly off the road for some reason!

Team points updated, for some reason on Daz spreadsheet is not counting both drivers in the team.

Will see what I can do.
It is now, the formulas I had added for the Team points had not been amended from Races 2-10, but they have now and should be showing correctly on all tabs.

Apologies for the oversight.

Regards showing the lap time for the fastest lap bonus, this just needs typing in on the appropriate 'Race' tab against the driver that scored the bonus (if you wish to do this).

Have we had any thoughts on allowing stepped upgrades to our cars? I think it wouldn't be a terrible idea to allow installation of parts like Suspension, brakes, tranny, etc. Just as long as we don't allow engine upgrades. Wouldn't be difficult to police either as if we say, for example, everyone is allowed to install a race suspension for the next event- then we would know exactly what PI everyone will be with that part installed and you can always limit the max HP in the private race settings to the stock HP of the engine to make sure that no-one touches their engines. Also, allowing a Race transmission and upgrading to the race clutch decreases the shift time of the computer driver and negates some of the disadvantage that people who can't race with manual clutch have because of the computer's shift times.
