Sorry for repeating myself, but the Alfa was the most fun I have had for ages, all over the place,
but always very predictable ( unlike the soap box last night ).
When I made a mistake, I made it, the car never had a mind of it’s own, all I needed to do was make
an adjustment to how I drove, the car responded in kind.
So much fun getting all over the “top” with the car and seeing how much I could get away with.
These events should be over subscribed, i should be here
complaining that I cannot get a drive.
Okay the Lancia was a bit of a no fun car, but with some patience, that to could be fun.
Then you had a choice of the Escort, what great joy that was to drive.
Sorry to bleat on, but what’s up with people, an Alfa for me eats a modern slick car for fun.
I love GT3, but sometimes you get so much satisfaction trying something different and so good as
these cars.
Surely not every one wants a clinically perfect 5 star pampered holiday in the Bahamas, don’t at
least some of you want a back packing holiday though the Andes in South America.
As John said, 5 drivers in this event would not have bothered me in the slightest, I would be
in my own world having a hoot. Now 5 drivers in the GT3 class, that’s a big no no.
