So has anyone posted some lap times? (Not drafting anyone) The best I have mustered is a *:**.*. No clue how good that is or not.

Edit: Bob Hutchins. Evan, we don't post times on the Historic forum so we keep the fun & keeps everyone guessing on who doing what, and also doesn't deter anyone from joining the race thinking theyre 2 slow. By the way np on the post as you didn't know about this unwritten rule.

Having never used rfactor before, do I have to pay credits to race? Can you change gearing and stuff? Is it the mod or the game that seems so basic?

Depending on cars you have different adjustements options to match the real car...

And I would suggest getting more familiar with rFactor before doing races as it is sometimes confusing

Go into any test session (offline will do) and type in the chat box 'ISI_BABYFACTORY', this buys all the cars and gives you zillions of cash.

Keep in mind that the amount of money will change with the mod you have

Some give you 20000, others give you millions, etc...

As for upgrades to the car, with the Academy's there's not much to do. You will probably want to upgrade the gear change to H-box rather than sequential, you can also change the horn sound and grab different mudguards! WOO!
