I noticed the changes you speak of Hermy, particularly one already previously difficult turn with the proper black marks is now even more testing with almost no black marks at braking zone.....and i know what you mean with the grip feeling, but i can assure there is no problems there,i just shattered my PB using a new made Sam set.

For Gary,

check this against yours, some settings of help, eg. keep recieved setups=x etc., but most changes I've made I have been doing since F12K2 days and are probably not needed for todays comupter abilities but keep things nice and friendly anyway, I also have changed some sound settings to help with the Cats specificly, like tyre sliding and road noise, I like to hear what the tyres are doing, but they can be very personal prefs so I'd check them offline before you use them to see if they suit.

Inre: the grip and tyre marks thing, not sure about the grip - it feels pretty similar to me, that might be because I don't slide as much as you and don't notice it as much, but the braking distances seems pretty similar, and they're dependent on grip as well.

Agree on the tyre marks, but by the time we've got another 16 or so herberts on the track as well, tyre marks for braking will pretty quickly become low on the list of priorities, I reckon.

atm i am pretty pissed about my self did a little mistake and spun it under brakes into turne one car stalled and was after that not able to restart
i was unable to **** back to neutral nor was the clutch working :/

Well! From my point of view, that was as good a racing as I've had anywhere! Make a tiny mistake and there's no catching up, for me anyway. Once or twice I thought I might grab a place down the straight but I was always 3 metres short! Superb stuff. Two 7th places out of 17 fields. /pats myself on the back.

I had NO practice tonight thanks to being stuck in traffic and then getting home 15 minutes before the official start. Just to find out that I can't load the darn track. There was a folder that I had to create in the Locations directory called "GPC79tracks" and then drop the track in there. I had to do some online searching in order to figure it out. That's cuz I am stupid and I didn't read this entire thread. MH had the same problem and Stu chimed in with the answer but I hadn't read it lol.

Well, I still had fun anyway. First race I worked my way up to 8th and then I ran out of fuel and watched as everyone passed me by lol.
Second race I spent all my energy trying to close in on Ron. I was closing in, but at such a slow rate I would have needed another 15 minutes to catch up.

Sorry Anders about the hit in race 2 and to whoever else I tapped tonight, I am a complete mess when I don't get to practice enough before a race.
Next time I will test and tune the day before, like I usually do.

Another pair of non stop action fun races for me,i seem to be really becoming "as one" with this mod, there really is nothing else quite like them in other sims,if anything, maybe traces of GPL or iRacing with the correct feel and feedback from the car,i look forward to more next week and beyond,i think that elusive completely full grid will be coming soon.

Thanks You S.T. & RD

Epic racing again last night

"Spin King" was running like a champ, thanks to MH & Sams setups. 1st race i made a huge mistake in T1, foot slipped of brake and i nearly took Michael and Gary out, that little move put me last i think and i started my hunt for Glory... I managed to drive my way yp to 7th with 6-5-4 in reach around 400m out when i decide to bin my brain and spin in one of the easiest corners on the track, after that point i lost focus and dropped further and further down. I decided to go to pits for milk and cookies and nurse my shattered feelings

2nd qual got messy, would have clocked 3 or 4 but had some spinning traffic ahead which forced me of track and no time.

I got a great start in 2nd race.... i followed Gary's horn up through the ranks to 11th and the draft train was about to get going, then i got hit by Carlos, which i pressume missed braking and i spun off. Basically i got my own medicine (so no worries Carlos, it really made laugh for long). A new hunt began but when i loose focus i loose focus and i ended in the backmarkers once again.

I really enjoy to watch how i drove in the first race at kyalami and how i drove last night.... its really going in the right direction, and i can stay on track longer and longer.

Thank you everyone for another awesome night of racing. The handling of these cars is simply brilliant

And again a great race event,

Race 1 start from pl. 10 but fumble the start (did not see the lights go to green) back to pl.14 slip off in the first corner but holding p 14 ,first lap always a probl. nervs and cold tires so start chasing with Anders on my tail and in front Domagoj Can Gary Carlos Kivanc an Knut, second lap first corner again,Can off Kivanc off in front of Carlos ,
Gary Knut an Domagoj trough than Can me and Aders on the dirt, after that we had some nice battles with each other, chancing places ,Carlos out of fuel in last lap so fin. on place 10.

Race 2 a repeat of the start from Race 1, pl 10 to late off dropped bag to p 15 lost the car in the first corner complete back to p. 17 every one gone,so on the cache again Anders of p.16 Carlos in front of me and Stefan off back to p.14 ? Still Can an Carlos in front than Pieter, must have had probs Can off chasing Pieter for 5 or 6 laps ( not able to com close) then Pieter back in the pits, p11 my lap times going down an not able to close on Carlos, last lap passing Oliver having problems ,so fin. on p 10 again .

This is a "race report", but I think most of the time during the race I was having a big smile on my face, and I must say that the Cats are big fun to drive looking to the grid with 17 drivers I am not the only one

Thanks all,
