1300 miles covered now since I got it, a great car.
Gorgeous! Best color on it to my eyes.

Haven't seen one of those in ages, quite rare in the US. They also made a van version, which was hilarious; a friend went to college in France in the early seventies and bought one, brought it back to the states; it had seating for six, but only around 12-15hp, so at a green light two would have to get out and push. He finally sold it, mainly due to parts availability (he went through a local Mercedes dealer, who contacted a parts shop in Germany, who found the parts, shipped them to the US ....could take months to get a simple part).

As seen in the Barn Finds category last week at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago -- great photos from my friend Alan Munro!

1994 Schuppan 962CR.
Essentially a C-era Porsche 962 with a widened carbon fiber tub, stereo, air conditioning, crash tested, emission controlled, and type approved for road use; powered by the same 3.3 L twin turbo flat six of 600+hp. Only six were built, with Porsche blessing, by Vern Schuppan in 1991. Original price $1 million.

This one, all original, was auctioned a couple of years ago for an undisclosed amount.
