You where very lucky. I am a big fan of the 911 and I wish I could afford one, I don't care if is a classic or a brand new model, let's see if I win the lottery some day...First new car I ever bought, late 1978 ('79 911 Turbo 3.3)

Pictures speaks louder than words..
Very clean build that blends FoMoCo's '60s youth culture marketing initiatives: Total Performance, Custom Car Caravan, and the U.S. international racing colors evoke the Ford Drag Racing Team and G.T. 350R successes. The 6x9 speakers on the rear package shelf, however, belong to the late '70s/early '80s.Trim is a bit rough on this one, I was learning to use BareMetal foil

..... I also noticed the "Save Calley" bumper sticker--is there a story to go with?
Sadly these cars never lived up to their promise or potential. Underpowered, poor handling, horrendous quality control issues, and costing near as much as a Porsche Turbo, meant they were more of a fad for the brief time the company was in business. Other than the handful of gold plated ones there's scarcely any collector interest, unusual for such a famous, or infamous, car.DMC DeLorean, in Retroclasica Bilbao 2021.
This car became popular thanks to Back to the Future
