I've done some tests now. I think the issue might have been CSP 0.2.2 messing up some things. Vanilla AC is fine, and with original documents files of AC seems that modded AC creates this issue again. So the issue is definetely inside AC folder. Now I'm replacing vanilla AC files over the AC modded folder. If it doesn't work, it must be some file that got added with CSP, like some dlls and such. What is odd is that even uninstalling CSP from content manager, the issue didn't go away. I'll update you with the new findings, so that can help someone in the future

EDIT4: the issue is about acs processes not being correctly closed, and so I'll have multiple running. I am having this issue sometimes, maybe it's because i use alt f4 a lot. When it happens, camera will spin, probably it will try to interact with every acs process it finds. Very strange. A fix could be to check the memory footprint of acs processes, because the zombie processes always take just few kilobytes of memory.

It's not something I have ever experienced. I never use Alt-F4

sorry - re-read instructions, fixed when I installed the original tool, then copied over 2.2.1.

Not showing in apps list, as suggested here I re-installed 2.2.0 but that doesn't show either (it was fine before I updated to 2.2.1). It's checked ON in AC settings > Python Apps, CSP 0.2.3-preview1 settings > Taskbar is active.

Actually it happened again without using alt f4. Not sure of what is causing it. The worst part is that they can’t be killed, I’ve to log out every time lol

Hi, i have a problem with camtool2. Tool shows up in app settings in content manager (it's turned on), but doesn't show up in game. In the image is a error log. Things i did:
- turned off other apps, that might interfere with camtool
- tried using couple of csp versions
- reinstaled different camtool2 versions (even custom ones from here)
- reinstalled contenet manager and assetto corsa

Idk why, but it seems, that a problem is a python libary, which i kind of wierd

I'm running into this error on both on my PCs.

Tried already to:
1] get a fresh Python33.zip + dll (both x64 +x32) and swaped the one that AC comes with just in case ( even though I checked the packages and they include everything).
2] I've also tried on a fresh AC/CSP install with no other mods, same error :/ .

Any idea what else I could try? ( do we really need the sim_info.py or can I go ahead an remove it from inclusions just in case I can work with whatever is left over? haha )

Are you sure you downloaded version 2.2.1 and copied pasted the files?
Last time someone reported that, he was not using last version.

Yeah it was latest, I reset everything though in full ( removed ac from documents etc as well ) and it worked like a charm, most likely something was bugging out the py library, i'm trying to figure out if it was another mod but haven't had luck yet.

hi there ive come across a new bug where in some camtool shots the car/dronecam following it will stutter and start to skip frames and the audio will also lag too and become jittery. im not sure how to fix it never happened before

I cant find the symbol on the right. Someone stated to use V1.15 or something. Which I did.
And I can actually find it in game. The issue is, this version doesnt seem to work for me.
When you click "sync" it never stops and as soon as you click on the "powerbutton" the camera completely spins around and its uncontrollable.
I guess this is due to being such an old version. I really try hard to get this to run and play around,
but it just doesnt wanna work for me. Does someone have a suggestion of what I could try?
Would well appreciate it

I've got the exact same problem with a fresh AC Install. Tried older versions with no luck. I've changed from a Win10 system to a Win11 system now, not sure if that might have something to do with it. This worked perfectly fine on my Win10 AC install. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Guys,
I have a problem and i hope my english is good enough for you to understand...
So me and my friends playing a long time on Shutoko on our own server and i used camtool 2 to make replay cams on Shibaru PA traffic.

Everything was fine from the entrance of the big highway until end highway.
then we deinstall shutoko 0.9.1 and upgraded it to 0.9.3 and there was a problem with the tracking positions in the replay, its keep jumping through the cameras because the position on my car isnt always right in one time its like 193.593 to 195.000 and all of a sudden its 26.663 and then 195.000 forward.

So deinstall all again and reinstalled 0.9.1, all csp settings that was changed for 0.9.3 was reseted and the cache folder and camtool2 was deletet to get sure no cache is left.

so now everything is installed like before and if u join the server and look at camtool while driving the position and everything is fine, UNTIL i go watch the replay with camtool2 everything is screwed up, no matter if i take the normal camtool2 or the camtool 2 with fixes and performance update.

CSP 0.2.4 (1.7.9 and 1.8.0 tested too)
General Patch Settings Far plane reseted (was changed for 0.9.3)
Graphic Adjustment Chunks Optimation back to basic (was on advanced for 0.9.3)

Can somebody help? I Love my Replay Cams ;(

I couldn't see the app in the sidebar but I installed the original version (https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/camtool-2.15062/) and pasted this one over it. I ended up with 61 files in the CamTools_2 folder instead of 59 and it works now. The extra files are:
CamTool_2\stdlib\_ctypes.pyd
CamTool_2\stdlib64\_ctypes.pyd
Hope someone finds this useful

good point! That's strange. And I actually have these 2 files also. But it's not in the updated version of camtool. Can someone else confirm that it fix the problem so that I can update the zip? That's strange that not everybody has this problem though.
