Starting from a completely modded car - You only have to remove the front strut shocks and the rear struts ( may not even need to remove the springs ), and the exhaust system... and the bucket seat... You don't need the rear seat or the passenger seat in the car either. I only had 1 seat in the car.
It isn't much... the 7 nuts / bolts for the strut, plus one for the steering rack arm for each side... Then for the rear it is 2 bolts, 1 nut. The exhaust is 6 nuts, 2 bolts for the header and the exhaust, then 1 holding exhaust to the car and 1 for the muffler. 4 for the seat.
It took less than 5 minutes to swap out.
It was annoying, but the entire car isn't 'stock'. I have the engine built with the 'new' block ( which according to MSC Editor was at 80%, along with the pistons I was sold and the water pump, etc.. ).. It had the racing flywheel in it too and the racing radiator.
The big issue is the front struts do not come out easily after removing the basic parts... In real life you are supposed to compress the spring before removing the bolts up top.
