As you know this was my first time here and I just wanted to say how enjoyable it was to have a proper race with you all.
It was so nice not to be punted into the next postcode and with people obeying the rules it was a pleasure to be involved.
I had a bit of luck on the opening laps with some of the faster guys tangling at Surtees putting me in fifth place, but after intense pressure from Ernie I had a spin at Graham’s Hill. Brian was beginning to catch me later on but I managed to hang on to finish where I started.
Hopefully I can join you again.
