Reiza Studios have confirmed that after a long period of Early Access, Automobilista will be available as a full Version One release from Wednesday 24th August on the Steam Network.

In preparation for the full release, the Brazilian team have released a new promotion trailer for the game and produced several impressive visual content lists (see foot of article) detailing what will be included in the package. It is worth noting that version One will include the much sought after 1967 and 1969 Formula Vintage series, a popular piece of content already enjoyed by beta backers that replicates 1960's era Formula One cars.

Some further important info regarding Version One:
  • A new player profile is strongly recommended.
  • Replays from v0.9.8 and earlier may not be compatible with v1.0
  • Virtual Xperience leaderboards will be reset in light of several physics updates;
  • Mods might need to be updated - specially mods that are in the REIZA28 - REIZA35 range as those slots have been reserved for official content as well (mods in that range won´t show up in menu).
AMS Version 1 Release Trailer:

Reiza have confirmed that to reflect the full version release, prices for the game will increase to US$ 39.99. Prices will remain discounted until Sunday 29th for the full Reiza Membership Package (base game + all DLCs + beta access) @ US$ 54.99, and Membership upgrade (all DLCs + beta access for those that already own the game) for US$ 24.99.

A range of post V1 release DLC items will be available to purchase in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned to RaceDepartment for more news when it is available.

Looking forward to V1? Are you satisfied with AMS so far? Do you think it has proven to be a worthwhile standalone release, rather than upgrade to GSCE? Let us know in the comments section below!

ISI take note! :ninja:

If ISI started a crowd funding campaign to hire some external help to upgrade rFactor2 to DX11, and to give proper VR support I'd happily give them £50. Hopefully it'll get me playable frame rates and fix the stuttering issues that make that great game unplayable on my super fast PC.

Reiza and Kunos have proved that being a small studio doesn't have to be an obstacle to progress ;)

It is on sale right now. ;)
"for this week however (until Sunday 28th) you may still buy it from our forum store for only US$ 29.99"

Fair enough, though as far as sales go that one barely registers. :)
Not trying to argue on the glorious eve of AMS 1.0 but what do you mean? $29.99 vs $39.99 is a 25% discount. That IS a decent sale any way you look at it. :)

Congratulations to Reiza. They and ISI are both small teams and have given us years of joy and hopefully many more to come!

Hah, yeah I guess it's a pretty darn decent sale as far as night before release goes. I mostly meant it as a "I'd wait for a bigger sale if you already own GSCE and are on the fence" kind of thing. :p

They don't need outside help for directx or anything. It's the choice of a couple of people.

But this is about AMS ;).

An "outdated" engine, "outdated" graphics but a damn good modern development team that pushes the tire simulation plus engine to its best. I love the feel, tracks and car models. The way you have updated the game and communicated toward the community...im speechless. Thanks Reiza. I will support you whenever i can because you work exactly how i think a developer should work:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:.
