AMS V1 Release.jpg

Reiza Studios have confirmed that after a long period of Early Access, Automobilista will be available as a full Version One release from Wednesday 24th August on the Steam Network.

In preparation for the full release, the Brazilian team have released a new promotion trailer for the game and produced several impressive visual content lists (see foot of article) detailing what will be included in the package. It is worth noting that version One will include the much sought after 1967 and 1969 Formula Vintage series, a popular piece of content already enjoyed by beta backers that replicates 1960's era Formula One cars.

Some further important info regarding Version One:
  • A new player profile is strongly recommended.
  • Replays from v0.9.8 and earlier may not be compatible with v1.0
  • Virtual Xperience leaderboards will be reset in light of several physics updates;
  • Mods might need to be updated - specially mods that are in the REIZA28 - REIZA35 range as those slots have been reserved for official content as well (mods in that range won´t show up in menu).
AMS Version 1 Release Trailer:

Reiza have confirmed that to reflect the full version release, prices for the game will increase to US$ 39.99. Prices will remain discounted until Sunday 29th for the full Reiza Membership Package (base game + all DLCs + beta access) @ US$ 54.99, and Membership upgrade (all DLCs + beta access for those that already own the game) for US$ 24.99.

A range of post V1 release DLC items will be available to purchase in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned to RaceDepartment for more news when it is available.

Looking forward to V1? Are you satisfied with AMS so far? Do you think it has proven to be a worthwhile standalone release, rather than upgrade to GSCE? Let us know in the comments section below!

Nice, though still no word on the steam achievements they've listed on their store page since it first went up. Still, great work Reiza on finally hitting 1.0, AMS really evolved into something we could only hope for back during the Indiegogo campaign. Going forward I'm looking forward to the DLC as it has some nice tracks and hopefully we'll start hearing alittle more about Reiza 17 soon.

Only have GSCE and bought that too late to qualify for the upgrade to AMS, so I'm wondering if it's really worth purchasing AMS now (if it offers anything significant over GSCE).

In my opinion the development over the EA phase of AMS has been dramatic, the finesse in the physics, handling and FFB are most notable but the updated and expanded content, graphics, sounds, et al add up to an enormous improvement over GSCE........for me definitely!!
Who knows when Reiza 2017 will be fully formed and released but for now, and the upcoming DLC teased, it has to be worthwhile.

yep, it is worth .. looks almost the same but drives and feels much better .. also content wise and with DLCs that are comming you`ll be missing .. just grab it before it gets full release to save some $ .. or wait and support devs more :) ...

AMS is a good upgrade from GSCE with some additional cars and circuits, dynamic tracks, physics upgrades and some graphical improvements, plus there is paid DLC coming. Certainly worth it to me.

If you are thinking of buying it and are interested in the Brit Pack DLC (Brands, Cadwell, Oulton Park + several cars) due in the next month or so then maybe get the bundle that includes DLC.

Just get the bundle AMS is fantastic, and without as many teething issues as Project Cars and Assetto Corsa. If you don't enjoy having a blast, go ahead and skip it, but don't worry the rest of us will still enjoy it;)

Hello!
In this version 1.0 will have their cars stock category v8 and copa petrobrás de marcas with updated fairings?
It would be interesting that the simulator accompany these two national categories of the highlights. Cruze needs to be updated in stockv8 as corolla, ford focus and cruze for copa petrobrás de marcas
