Many laps in working on the car and myself, I finally got control and could manage a pace.
Well, 3 sec off the leaders in a <1 minute lap.

The Team made a strategic decision for me to rive until I crashed out so as to not bother anyone. Our tactics would involve a start at the rear and a firm rule was established for the driver to NOT race against anyone. Sound in principle and all we could do was to hope for good luck and keep a good eye in the mirrors!

So I have to thank my team captain and tactician as I made no contacts, never put a single wheel off the track and even though I didn't race anyone still managed to come in 8th in R1. Yes, omg(!) and having had that luck it was decided to end the day on the good note and not go for R2

Good race for me. 7th I think in Race 1 and 6th in race 2. Much like @Dennis Phelan I only managed those positions by consistently not spinning out whilst others ahead did.

In the 2nd Race @Craig Patteson was behind me for a while. My engineers had fitted a force field that caused anyone called Craig to spin if they got within 1 second of my rear bumper... Unfortunately it ran out of batteries and Craig soon passed me. Cheers for that little bit of racing we had Craig.
