Hi everyone, here we are with my personal settings for the Thrustmaster T300 for the PC version of Assetto Corsa. If you want more infos about the FFB, I suggest you to read this post of Luca Sodano from @kunos and this article on Reddit. Have a look at the settings below or download the files for an easy setup.

Here is what I use:
FFB settings with GYRO enabled:
IMPORTANT: go to :\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg and open the Assetto Corsa INI using Notepad.
Go to the [FF_EXPERIMENTAL] section and set ENABLE_ GYRO=1 and set DAMPER_MIN_LEVEL=0.01 and save. Should look like this:
[FF_EXPERIMENTAL]
ENABLE_GYRO=1
DAMPER_MIN_LEVEL=0.01
DAMPER_GAIN=1.0

IMPORTANT: go to :\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg and open the ff_post_process INI using Notepad and make sure that it looks like this:
[HEADER]
VERSION=1
TYPE=LUT
ENABLED=0

[GAMMA]
VALUE=0.5

[LUT]
CURVE=doesn't_matter.lut

Hi,

I own a T300 and I need help. For me wheel is too strong with settings like that :
FFB Tm : 65%
Assettocorsa Main FFB : 80%

My question is: what is the best way to reduce wheel FFB strength ? By reducing TM FFB, or Assetto FFB or both too ?

If Total FFB = TM FFB x AC main FFB; which one is the best :
1) TM 100% x AC 50% = global 50%
or
2) TM 50% x AC 100% = global 50%

Many thanks !

Same here, but it's really preference, so adjust it to your liking. Mine's set to 75% in CP, 70 in-game, and use FFBClip app... works fine. As it's a multiplier, I suggest just setting CP to match all your sims (if you have others too).

Thx. So I will try to reduce AC main FFB because I haven't this problem on rfactor2. In rF2, wheel is ok but it's very hard to keep a straight line on AC for me....

Ps: maybe I need more muscle on my arm!!!

Don't overload your T300, most of the issues came with people using crazy high FFB settings.
Racing wheel should be firm, but not hard to turn.

I use following settings. It's overload ?

Thrustmaster Control Panel
  • Degree of Rotation: 900°
  • Overall FFB: 65%
  • Constant: 100%
  • Periodic: 100%
  • Spring: 0%
  • Damper: 0%
  • Auto-Center: by the game

In-game settings

  • Road Effects: 0%
  • Slip Effects: 0%
  • Gamma: 1.00
  • Filter: 0.00
  • Speed Sensitivity: 0.00
  • Brake Gamma: 2.80
It's too strong for me, it's normal with settings like that ?

900°?
0 min force?
65%?

You should have a wheel that is so light it barely feels turned on, likely with a huge dead zone in the center.

But hey, if it feels good to you then it doesn't matter....
It's not so light that why I re-open this thread. Settings are lighter than yours but for me it's very hard to keep it in a correct.

I will try to reset Assetto Corsa cfg folders !
