Assetto Corsa Thrustmaster T300 Settings

jpg.jpg

Hi everyone, here we are with my personal settings for the Thrustmaster T300 for the PC version of Assetto Corsa. If you want more infos about the FFB, I suggest you to read this post of Luca Sodano from @kunos and this article on Reddit. Have a look at the settings below or download the files for an easy setup.

hello.. i have a T300 and the ffb in game is horrible.. just because the wheel is always contersteering.. i dont know if this supost to work like that.. mas it´s not good.. when the car slide is supost the wheel contersteering? its seemas that is great for drifting but in a race is nao good.. can i change that?

Here is what I use:
FFB settings with GYRO enabled:
IMPORTANT: go to :\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg and open the Assetto Corsa INI using Notepad.
Go to the [FF_EXPERIMENTAL] section and set ENABLE_ GYRO=1 and set DAMPER_MIN_LEVEL=0.01 and save. Should look like this:
[FF_EXPERIMENTAL]
ENABLE_GYRO=1
DAMPER_MIN_LEVEL=0.01
DAMPER_GAIN=1.0

IMPORTANT: go to :\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg and open the ff_post_process INI using Notepad and make sure that it looks like this:
[HEADER]
VERSION=1
TYPE=LUT
ENABLED=0

[GAMMA]
VALUE=0.5

[LUT]
CURVE=doesn't_matter.lut

In the Thrustmaster control panel:
Overall Strength: 90%
Constant: 100%
Periodic: 100%
Spring: 0%
Damper: 100%
Auto-center: By the game
--------------------
In game:
Gain: 80%
Filter: 0%
Min force: 6%
Kerb: 0%
Road: 0%
Slip: 0%
Understeer: UNCHECKED

What's the difference between this and reversing the strength values (ex. TM Overall FFB=70%, then in-game Gain=80%)?
(total FFB strenght) = (TM overall FFB) x (in-game gain)
mine total strenght is 0,9 x 0,6 = 0,54

You can swap the values as you wish, just keep in mind the proportion.
With your example the total FFB strenght is 0,7 x 0,8 = 0,56 and it's pretty close to mine (only 2% difference).

Guys, do you use 100% for each car (+/- key on numpad), as personal setting? Or do you decrease it? I just wonder about your overall strength settings, since I use only 60% strength in Thrustmaster settings and appr. 70% in AC.
I use the FFBClip app, so it adjusts automatically depending on the mode (I use Light mode). Values vary around the range 95-105.

I have a T500, but here are my settings:

Thrustmaster panel:
Strength = 60% (for T500 this is the most linear reponse)
Constant = 100%
Periodic = 100%
Spring = 100%
Damper = 20%

In AC:
Strength = 81%
Filter = 10% (probably not needed on T300, its harsh on T500 due to strength)
Min Force = 4%

Effects:
Curb = 45%
Road - 38%
Slip = 27%

No changes to config file, GAMMA or anything else.

I have a T300 since little time ago and with this config -except Damper=0 for me- is the best I tried so, many thanks, Michael.

I have to take a look putting some value to Spring, as some of you said.
