I play offline using VR (only). I have CSP/Sol all updated and working perfectly. All RainFX updates installed for every track that I could get. Went around and tried to see what was the BEST RainFX of any track. Spa and Silverstone were pretty good. You can see rain streaming down the car and puddles form on the ground, you know this already.
Suzuka 1988 is not great with FX and my proper suzuka_circuit does not work with CSP. CSP broke the AI and all of the AI cars just sit stuck at pit. So I went searching for a different version of Suzuka... and I was not prepared for what i found.
I downloaded Suzuka from acmods.net - https://acmods.net/tracks/suzuka/ and my mind is absolutely BLOWN. WTF?! I have never seen RainFX look like this. There is rainwater POURING DOWN from the building! I have been driving the SF15-T and the RainFX effects on the body at most tracks has been pretty lame. I figured it was a car-specific issue. In my Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota the rain effects on the body look incredible. But suddenly on this Suzuka track the rain on the Scuderia Ferrari was M I N D B L O W I N G. Quite literally every other track or RainFX setup I have seen is garbage compared to what I witnessed.
I have added a collection of screenshots while I was walking outside the car in VR. The photos do not do the real experience justice.
That was the greatest VR experience of my life. Astonishing masterpiece. The amount of detail they put into this Suzuka version is insane.
This experience needs to be shared by every human on earth. Simply incredible. The most realistic track I have ever seen.
