Kunos Simulazioni yesterday released the video trailer for their latest piece of free content, the Audi R8 V10 Plus, as they do for all their latest content, however eagle-eyed viewers will notice the track that is featured in the video: Brands Hatch.

Whilst the Audi is freely available for download right now, the circuit is supposedly going to be released as a part of the third Dream DLC pack later in December. A track that is synonymous with British motorsport, Brands Hatch will be laserscanned in order to accurately replicate all the blind crests, bumps, curbs and incredible elevation changes that feature on the real life circuit.

Rumours around the contents of the third DLC pack continues to circulate with Kunos Simulazioni's Licensing Project Manager, Marco Massarutto, stating in an interview that along with Brands Hatch it will feature seven additional cars (he only mentions six) including the eagerly anticipated McLaren 650S GT3, the yet-to-be-raced-in-real-life Mercedes AMG GT3, the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse, the Lotus 25 and Lotus 72D Formula One cars, and the Ford Escort Mk1.

Perhaps most crucially, the release of Dream Pack 3 will likely be in conjunction with version 1.4 of the game which is supposedly going to feature hefty Multiplayer improvements and updates. This is welcome news and is something we hold dear to our hearts here at RaceDepartment.

Are you excited for Brands Hatch?

Brands Hatch has already been Laser scanned. They released photos ages ago on their FB page, and I seriously cannot wait. After Snetterton, this is my FAV, but this opens the question. If they have permission for BH, which is part of the MSV Group, who also own Snetterton, Cadwell Park and Bedford Autodrome, have they got permission to laser scan them all?

Now that would be tasty

Abarth 500 Assetto Corse, cant wait!

Did you guys notice the works Mini and Porsche 911 billboards at Vallelunga? Or have they been there all along...

Some thing that AC may pull the biggest supersize & get the rights to putting Porsche in a Sim at last & ending the hold that EA as had over the marque . Sure BMW Mini will be in game soon the Abarth needs another car in the same class to race with..

But we already have the Abarth 500 Assetto Corsa or this the current spec 2015 car I would have thought they would added the 595 or 695 beposto .

Abarth AC is the racing version of the car we have, full track spec, but I think there were talks about the classic one, and they were both supposed to be free too, if I'm not mistaken. It was in the article where RD attended Kunos event at Vallelunga before release.

I have a setup for app picking who to point the camera at, it's just not at all user friendly to get working. And is stuck with one FOV cause they left that out of the python api (it hasn't seen additions in over a year due to the main dev left, has had some bug fixes though).
