It will.... And to be honest I think it will be a milestone in this market. When you do something with passion the result is always surprising.

This picture says a lot about Stefano and their "friends" ahahah :D

I hope to read this post in 5 years and don't regret about this statement (burn!!!) lol
Absolutely loved that picture when Kunos shared it. Wrote Reworked a poem about it a couple of months ago http://www.racedepartment.com/2012/07/assetto-corsa-just-an-ordinary-day-at-the-office/

so is the tech preview a demo and then..the game for real?

So i'm guessing the demo comes out by the 20th at latest?
sorry for questions - i've never anticipated a game so much in my entire life

Don´t quote me on this but it does seem the demo has been scrapped to put full focus on the game.

Basically letting us play around with Tech Demo until 1.0 is released.

I think they will release v1.0 and the Demo at the same time. You will be able to download the whole thing but can only drive 1 or 2 cars and 2 or 3 tracks until you buy the Full Version. This is the most likely scenario for me. ;)

btw. no TP today? :(

Just watched the video, HUGE thanks for the Translation much appreciated :)
A couple of points:

- Whilst I agree that Laser Scanning the actual track is good for trackside objects/trees/armco/curbs/gravel traps etc and Track Elevations, its really only effective for the actual Track Surface for one year....that is from the moment the laser scanning took place to 12months after.
Tracks change with bumps/cracks/resurfacing on a yearly basis, going back and re-scanning a track every 12months probably is'nt feasable at all so whilst its good for a start its not a long term thing.
Take Lime Rock for example, laser scanned in iRacing then they repaved the track and you get what we have in rFactor2...two totally different surfaces! So no which one is right? the old laser scanned version which is obsolete or the new repaved version that is'nt laser scanned?! How is the "Pilot" to know each and every bump/crack/tiny deviation? Simple answer is he/she wont 12months after the track was made in game.

- I read it as Tech Preview in Feb then v1.0 in Spring, did'nt see anything about a Demo (unless lost in translation!) so maybe the Tech Preview will become the Demo once v1.0 is near or released.

- Whats with all the lolcats? :p

- A small independant team that can grab those licenses is simply fantastic, pressure is on them to deliver a 5 Star product otherwise those licensees may feel let down so Kunos need to deliver with AC no two ways about it, this is the be all and end all IMO...game on!

- eeerrr gimme the Tech Preview....I'm ready :D
