Here is a google translation:

It will be absolutely open to a wide range of users, "Mark told us Massarutto, Production Director Assetto Corsa." From the point of view of difficulty driving, operating stability control, traction, automatic transmission and so on makes it possible to adapt the form of driving according to their needs and preferences, also depending on the controller used, whether it's the keyboard, gamepad or steering wheel and pedals. The difference is not in the dynamic model of the car: that is, the dynamic model does not become "arcade" or some kind of simulation by changing parameters. Are the driver assistance systems to become more or less invasive, in function of the ability of the pilot to make the car controllable, obviously within certain limits. "
Version 1.0 of Assetto Corsa will include several cars as Abarth 500 SS, BMW 1M, BMW M3, BMW Z4, Ferrari 458 Italy, Ferrari F40, Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione, Ferrari P4 / 5 Competizione, KTM X-Bow R, Lotus Elan, Lotus Evora, Lotus Elise, Lotus Exige, Lotus 49, McLaren MP4-12C, Pagani Zonda R, Pagani Huayra and Tatuus FA01.
The circuits already announced are: Imola, Monza, Magione, Mugello, Silverstone and Vallelunga. But after the launch Kunos release two DLC, both free of charge for those who will pre-order the game. About two months after the launch will be released the first DLC, the Bonus Pack 1 that will contain Spa-Francorchamps and some cars. The first DLC will be followed by a DLC "historic", with circuits and historic cars, Historic Pack 1.
Assetto Corsa then include a comprehensive career mode with different types of racing and a progression that will allow players to unlock new cars as they face the races. In addition to the career mode, there is a free play mode where the player can freely set races, events, practice, etc., and use all the available cars, regardless of the breakouts of his career. Then there are the so-called special events: a series of predefined events, which will be updated online over time. And then the modding theme, to access the mod installed as if they were separate games.
"From the point of view of the driving, drag racing, drift, time attack, quick race, race weekend, career mode, and special events should meet all the requirements, by those who love to work on the setup of the car , to those who want to have fun driving game mode with immediate and fun. Same goes for the choice of the car: the GT road to the GTR, from single-seaters to prototypes, there really will be spoiled for choice, "continues Massarutto .
"With regard to the types of controllers used, keyboard and joypad will not simply devices" compatible "with Assetto Corsa, but will be managed in such a way as to make the driving experience enjoyable and fun."
And there will also endurance races? We are still defining the thing, to see if there is time in version 1.0 to solve certain problems, answers Massarutto.
We asked the Production Director Kunos Simulations also an update on the work and what areas still require the rework. He replied: "There is not one aspect that every day is not modified to optimize or improve it. We are still completing some cars, and every new model leads to improving both the techniques of modeling and optimization of the polygons, shaders and materials, that the management of parameters of physics, sound effects and so on. This evolution is then shown on vehicles already completed, to ensure a high level of quality for all models in the game. "
"In terms of features and content, development is almost completed, after which we will dedicate ourselves to a massive testing that will lead to the release."
At this point we could not ask for clarification on the release date: "I'd rather not say too much on this point: as you may know, Assetto Corsa will be released on Steam. These days we are carrying out all the necessary legal and commercial initiatives, and we are begin the process of integration of Assetto Corsa on their platform. Until we know for sure how many and what problems this entails, it is difficult to give an estimate, because some problems are beyond our control. Yet in the next few weeks we should be able to define and announce the release date, together with the start of the pre-order ".
In short, very little seems to be lacking in these important announcements. Assetto Corsa has been approved by the community of Steam through the Green Light Programme, and this is to say that there is much interest on the digital platform from Valve, and that it is making arrangements with the manufacturer to the final distribution of the game.
Presumably the release will take place between the months of September and October, while details on other tracks should be revealed soon, when you open the pre-order.
Assetto Corsa promises to be a real simracing new generation. The editors of Gamemag fibrillation is ahead of the launch. We can not wait to try a simulation directly driving extremely promising and completely made in Italy.

2 free DLC packs if you pre-order? Good stuff. I reckon the historic pack will be centred around the old Spa and Monza tracks personally.

Regards the release date, look at it this way: It's very nearly July, so Sept-Oct is only 2-3 months away. That will pass in the blink of an eye! Plus, my reading of the above is that if they can squeeze in things like pitstops into v1.0 without doing it half-assed or delaying the release, they will. All going in the right direction if you ask me. Plus, Luca's McLaren MP3 has got me really geared up for it all over again.

Now that it's Friday again, we usually get another screenshot or two on the FB page, son't we?

Well we saw some screenshots from historic monza already so I hope they include that with the Lotus49 in v1.0. Would be also nice to get us interested or those who do not preoder :D in a historic DLC pack

When I think about the historic pack there will obviously be historic Spa as they announced but there could be also versions of historic Silverstone and Imola which would be pretty epic...

That's great value in my opinion. In R3E and iracing the same amount of content would cost

No news on the VLN / Nordschliefe track? Is it not being included at launch?

I thought the initial plan was to have 10 tracks? Or does that include the DLC and historic tracks?

I dont think the article refers to all of the tracks.

But different question: does anyone know if there will be animated pitstops?

They said that they would love to have the ring but that is all (there is currently no one to negotiate with, the ring is for sale and in all kinds of trouble), I don't think there is any chance to have it in the near future, i.e. v1.0... Maybe some day as DLC... You can check this thread there was a interview with Marco about it couple months ago...

Great news, they don't speak about day/nigth and weather, i don't remenber if it's including... 18 cars and 6 traks without dlc it's fine at 39 € (i hope...) keep it good work...

The article doesn't state the complete v1.0 content. There are several cars missing which are already officially confirmed for v1.0...

I just hope they don't fragment the multi-player , with all this DLC or separate mod system.

Look at GTRE for example most of the servers are locked or use random mods, for a new user its off-putting. Rf2 in some ways is better but the auto download system barely works unless its ISI content and already most of the servers and content management is a mess.

If AC can "just work" from a end users perspective then they will have something very special. We all know that Kunos can do the physics , the graphics and the general interface. The only thing left to be tested is simply how well packaged the final game is.

If they do manage to integrate with all the steam features properly and take advantage of steam sales and other aspects of steam then they stand to make an absolute fortune , just look at niche games like Train simulator I would not be surprised if they were pulling in an extra 800,000.00 a year alone from steam and that's after there initial retail sales.

Just as an idea , It would be perfect if you got all the tracks without having to buy DLC , but the DLC simply unlocked Higher detailed versions of the tracks and also gave you steam cards / steam items. In the end hard core simmers will buy the DLC regardless and casual's will buy it for the steam features , I know it sounds insane but steam is insane people are literally selling game items that do nothing for £1- £250 http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/570/Genuine Berserker's Witchslayer .
How about a virtual hot-dog hat for £30 ? http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Unusual Hot Dogger

To put it mildly maximising game sales on steam requires a totally different philosophy than selling a retail or traditional download game.

IRacings system is by far the best we have now. Yet there is substantial room for improvement in assigning the blame.

Do you guys think that can be done, technically, with AC?
Last we heard, the API is supposed to be capable of building rating systems as mods. As for assigning actual blame automatically, that should only depend on having someone smart enough to code such a system.

Agree 100% with this. I was very late getting into rFactor and GTR2 by which time it was impossible to hop onto multiplayer because of all the low numbers, locked out servers or random and obscure mods. Pre-arranged races are fine but sometimes you just want to jump onto multiplayer and enjoy a few races, very hard when everything is so fractured and divided.
