Assetto Corsa developers Kunos Simulazioni have finally revealed the penultimate piece of content due to be released for the game as part of Thursday's upcoming 'Red Pack' DLC update.

With the GT2/3's already proving to be one of the more popular, and densely populated, classes within the game it was perhaps inevitable that Kunos would look to add another new generation model from of one of GT racing's most vibrant racing classes, this time bringing the beautiful Ferrari 488 GT3 to the sim. Replacement for the aging 458 Italia, the new 488 packs a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 with a lighter more rigid frame than its road going counterpart the 488 GTB. Run by a wide variety of GT3 teams across the world, the 488 is one of Ferrari's most spectacular closed top GT cars of recent times and sure to become an instant classic with the Tifosi faithful.

The Red Pack DLC is due for release on the Steam platform for PC players of Assetto Corsa, and will become available to purchase for PS4 and Xbox One players post console release.

As to AI improvements, I'm looking forward to those, since I like to drive in a "kind of Track Day Mode", so full race weekend with AI, 90 min. practice, dusty track and as many AI cars possible from a range from P1 to Lotus Exige.
Sadly often faster AI cars stay behind slower cars on long straight and hit the brakes behind them since both cars stay on the racing line.
I hope the improved AI does a better job there.

I remember Stephano saying something on one of his streams that the AI is a lot less hesitant to deviate from the racing line now, making overtaking of slower cars better. The AI was definitely looking a lot racier in the races he did so I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll have more decisive AI.

Thanks. Sounds promising, I will try it as soon as it is available and give a short feedback on that.

FFS, ridiculous.

No wonder italian economy is f*cked with this kind of professionalism

It's no wonder why Mercedes are whipping them in F1. If the Italians were as professional as the Germans, Ferrari would win the F1 Championship every season.
Please. Roasting an entire nation based off of an honest mistake made by a guy who almost single handedly does most of the physics and core programming of the game is completely unnecessary.

"It's going to be a little longer. Found a problem on the career and trying to fix it. Hold fast."

You think this is acceptable at less than one hour from delivery? If I said that in my work, I would be fired.
