That would be great. Look at this year‘s calendar: COTA, Sonoma, Virginia, Watkins Glen, Road America and Indianapolis roadcourse. Except Indy, these are all great tracks.
yep, if they start selling us all of the SRO content in bits and pieces, I'd be happy. Plus: there are also series run on the same weekend but not officially on the SRO roster, these might conceivably be added as well (going back to: we aim to recreate the whole weekend for you).

Title changed a while back to GT World Challenge game, Blancpain no longer exists IRL too.

Sonoma has terrible racing with fast cars compared to indy. Turn 7 will be the only passing area in gt3 competitions. It's like zandvoort, fun for hotlapping, but when you are fighting someone your skill, there is next to nowhere to exploit a small mistake or advantage and you end up playing traffic simulator with the slow cars. Indy road course is wide with many alternative lines and would work very well in this game.

It may be slower but with less aero it is a challenge to go quick and less aero means less aero wash so closer racing
The key to it becoming popular though is not just affordablity for the race team but for the fans. These are very similar to the road going version and those cars like the M4, Camaro Mustang (missing for now) are still expensive but not out of sight of a middle class earner and THAT is where the audience appeal will be.

the KTM isn't the best example here :whistling: it has a lot of aero for a car of its class, in the VLN GT3 drivers tell about the KTM being almost as fast in tight corners, but "surprisingly slow" on straights

It doesn't have nearly as much aero with SRO BoP, being forced to run SUV ride heights to nullify a lot of its advantage. Even has track specific camber limits which afaik no other car has, again to bring it more in line with the others on corner speeds.

Yep, IMSA and SRO have no deal, but we could hope (in the future), some cars from the GT4 sprint-X (wich is an SRO branded), and some of them are interesting (will be a Saleen this year, there are some ford mustang, and one or 2 panoz ...exotic cars for us^^)

I know smartypants,i'm just saying. Wouldn't it be a nice thing if ACC facilitated more championships? It's not like SRO OWNS Kunos...they can do whatever they want with their product.
Not sure on that. I can imagine that the moment SRO pulls out, ACC will get no further updates. But since nobody here knows the contract....
