Assetto Corsa Competizione has been in receipt of a brand new hotfix update today - addressing some multiplayer issues amongst other items.

Following hot on the heels of the recent release three update, today's hotfix is a welcome reaction from Kunos as they look to address a number of issues that have arisen mainly around the new multiplayer functionality within the title.

Admitting that the first pass of multiplayer was expected to require more fine tuning before it becomes a genuinely playable option within the game, Kunos have reacted quickly to review the feedback and responses from community members and deployed a new hotfix earlier today. Although a positive step in the right direction, the current build of ACC online functionality still requires further work before it offers a truly smooth gaming experience.

Dear #ACCompetizione racers, we just deployed hotfix 0.3.1 containing a number of important fixes for the Multiplayer system, but also improvements for the Singleplayer experience as well as UI.

Important note for the server admins: The accServer.exe is updated, old servers won't show up in the server selection anymore. So please update the binaries.

0.3.1 Change Log

  • Enabled Chat Widget in Multiplayer Mode
  • Fixed laptimes not showing up in Special Event leaderboards
  • Fixed label switch in singleplayer mode
  • Fixed label name during Replay after a restart
  • Fixed Starting camera if when it has saved custom offset
  • Fixed Spotter saying "go go go" message twice after pitstop
  • accServer improvements and diagnostics
  • Added message for possible Multiplayer downtimes
  • Temporarily disabled pitstop during Replay
  • Temporary fix for BMW M6 GT3 fuel consumption. The setup fuel estimate remains broken, fix on next release
  • Tyre scrub/vibration FFB fine tuning
  • Fixed missing D-Pad navigation for "Brake ducts" and "Caster" options in Setup Page
  • Fixed help text not changing when hovering options in MatchMaking Advanced options page
  • Fixed MatchMaking Advanced options "Preferred drivers count" decrementing by 2 when confirmed
  • Improved positional sound for exteriors
  • Reworked distance attenuation, distance filter and reverb dynamic for exterior sounds (still WIP)
  • Improved remote car movement for speeds below ~30 kmh
Assetto Corsa Competizione is available on Steam Early Access now. Currently at build release 3 status.

I have the steering wheel g27 but I do not achieve the ideal setting

Can you share your setting?

Are you using the logitch profile? Values?

Thanks

I haven't done anything special, the profiler settings I used for AC1 I use for ACC, the only thing I changed is the gain, to something around 40%, otherwise I think it's all stock.
It does take some getting used to after you come from AC1, but after that, to me it feels perfect.

There may still be some issues with FFB and certain wheels. My experience using the OSW-SimuCube wheel does not match reports by users of most other wheels. Most players report having a good sense of under-steer cues while I get none with the OSW.

Otherwise, the overall feel of the FFB is very good, just some details not coming through. We saw something similar happen with RR-FFB and the OSW.

I'm not an AC fan (not at all to be honest), and I was not really waiting for this title, but... it seems to be better than expected (in my opinion I mean, and my opinion before the release was really bad).
Physics are far from perfect (strange grip, and strange braking), but a bit better than AC1, seems to be promising, still bad IA logic (wich is implemented in code, so it won't change unfortunately)
A complete game with only GT3 cars and only 10 tracks (with only one configuration) is something strange (was hoping for GT4, but nope), but it could be a good alternative to other titles...
I'm confident.

Continuing on FFB meme. R1 had superb FFB, at least after hotfix it was perfect IMO, at least with mine T300. And I don't even mean FFB only, but also physics, perhaps physics mostly. Because FFB is translator of physics, and many of you who are repeating FFB x 1 000 000 times forget that it comes from physics.

Have to be honest spent so little time in R3 yet, so it could be better now... but honestly looking at what majority of "simracers" are looking for it is not hard to tell how it is. It is going to stuck in AC level of realism, because typical AC user will not handle more. As first release just showed in September.

so 0.2 was ok, 0.3.1 I have tried loading the game up a couple of times now, with oculus rift VR and without. random hard lock ups during loading of the game or loading of circuit causing a PC restart to fix. ive managed to get a few laps in...FFB is nice on my G27. optimisation isnt great on my 7700k / RX580.

I can't take it anymore.... How many times are you going to repeat yourself? I've read this same post like 100 times from you. We get it you liked R1 and you don't like how it changed. Time to move on instead sounding like a broken record on every post you make on every forum. No matter how many times you bring it up it won't change.

Probably frequently for a month or two. And then again some times if it will fit in the momentum of discussion subject. I have moved on, but I keep the opinion about situation. I also don't take your note about me as an argument. Take it or leave it, no drama.
