Misc Assetto Corsa Car Tuner 1.52

Hello i want to ask about my problem here, after editing power.lut and the other thing after i drive it in assetto corsa it doesnt show the car and it is just black. can u assist me to solve this problem? THX

After editing a file (setup.ini for example), if I open that file in Notepad, it's got a bunch of extra line spaces and the file format says "Macintosh CR". Other times, it will say "Windows CRLF". It's very strange that it will sometimes change formats between edits. If I use the arrows to navigate through the file, there are times I get to the end of a line and will get 'stuck' for 5, 6, 10 key presses before the cursor will move and some times it will go to the beginning of the line instead of the next line.
And if I edit the file in Notepad, there are times it will not read the CRLF as a CRLF but as a CR or LF, making the different lines all one, big, line (which the game won't read).
Is there a way around having it change the format so it's always "Windows CRLF"?
I love the tool but it's so annoying and time consuming getting rid of all the extra characters, which also increase the file size dramatically.

I tune a car, but when I go the game, with content manager, the car dont have any sound... someone with the same issue?

I found a bug with the app whilst I was trying to make engine-crane compatible with it. I've also come up with a solution to work-around it

If you get the following error when selecting a tune (with the specific text "Index and length must refer to a location within the string. Parameter name: length"):

Then it is likely because the drivetrain.ini for the car does not have a space after the drive 'Type' config parameter. i.e.

[TRACTION]
TYPE=RWD
# No space after "RWD"

If you add a space to the end of this line (after 'RWD') it seems to resolve this problem.

Technical note for the mod author.​

I think this may be occuring because the wheel drive options all have a space at the end of them. See the way an additional space is highlighted

I'd hazard a guess the code is trying to do some sort of string-comparison with these values and if there isn't a whitespace in the file it causes all comparisons to fail and you hit this problem.

I don't see this in the comments so sorry if I'm repeating - I just want to change the shift points and lengthen first gear mostly in a rally car... I only see "final drive" in the basic settings though; is this something the Tuner app does?

Whenever i try to create a tune now after deleting my first one, it doesnt do anything, tried reinstalling it nothing... Anyone knows?

I've been using this app for a long time now, but I notice that not all cars appear in the list, most of them, but some specific vehicles, just the ones I would like to modify, do not appear, they do not seem to be encrypted or anything like that since the data folder is not packed and can be accessed, does anyone know why? How can I make those cars appear too? Thanks in advance, best regards
