For almost 2 months now Sidekick and Crewchief were working perfectly, now they are not! They are enabled in the general settings but they are not visible in the app bar on the right side of the screen. I'm at a lost as to why they just stopped working.

not sure I follow, are you saying it should not be a zip? what is yours?
that zip in ac root is not used, the right one is:
assettocorsa\system\x64\Python33.zip
another question: do you have this file: "assettocorsa\apps\python\system\acsys.py" ?

what folder is your AC installed to? does it have some non-ascii character in it?
like "D:\Program Files - Instalaçoes\Steam\..."
try a folder with only ascii characters!

I will check but it should not because my pc is in us-english install. 2 others have recently reported the same problem in the Crewchief forums and never got an answer.
Well, I repurposed a pc I was using for my flight sim a few years back, an i5-2500K. Put Win 10 on it, 16gb of ram re-installed everything including CC and it works like a charm. No doubt something broken in Win 7, it will remain a mystery.
