Alright when was that again.....?

Yeah. Only ban those who have actually cheated. What did Mazepin and or Kvyatdo?

Should all Italian football players be banned from using their nationality in their sport because Ferrari cheated in F1?

would be upheld after state-sponsored doping was uncovered at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi

is a bit of a different deal than a manufacturer team cheating

People just love to make stuff up about Lewis Hamilton.
I guess it makes them feel better believing what they hear coming out of their own mouths.
Over the years since 2007, how many times have we all heard this nonsense....
Nobody said a single word when Michael was pulling in vast sums at Ferrari and yet...
He makes too much salary.
He is afraid of a strong teammate...not withstanding the fact he matched one of the best F1 drivers in his first year in the sport.
Mercedes may have the best all around car...not always the fastest...not always the best suited for all circuits.
What he does, is make it work to his advantage with clever driving techniques.
Some of you guys really need to get over it and move on.
It is getting quite old.

The ammount of Verstappen-fanboyism in this thread, that has LITERALLY nothing to do with MV, is just insane.

I love MV as the driver he is, but this growing Verstappen-ultra-followship is getting to a point where its just nothing but annoying.

F1 is not JUST MV.
Not every F1 news has to be MV related.
And not every contract hast MV listed in it, i'm sure.

So lets just relax and enjoy the sport we love.
Be a fan, not a blind-following fanboy
Not all you state is correct, ask a Liverpool fan about United. You will get the same discussion.

Anyway, without Hamilton I don't know if Merc would be where they are you know.

Sorry, but that is wrong. The engineers matter more than the driver. This is modern F1.

Truth be told, todays driver can't even create a new CAD document. They probably couldn't even tell you which CAD software their team uses.

Hoping for a good and speedy recovery. He was hit by a car when he was cycling and brought to the nearest hospital. It seems several bones are broken and his team confirmed this.

Source (in Dutch) but also available at main source LaGazetta.it

The Alpine F1 team have issued a statement this evening that double Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso has been hospitalized following a road accident in Switzerland.

Little information has been released about the condition of Alonso following the accident, aside from the statement claiming the 39-year-old returning driver is 'conscious' and 'well in himself' following his arrival in hospital.

Stay tuned for more information as and when it becomes available.

MOD Edit: Some lines removed

Anyway, Fernando, get well in front of the cathodic TV of the hospital and surely without PS5 with the stockouts.
