Alright when was that again.....?

There's always something new to learn here - I thought those helmets would not have been allowed by 1974

Its Leo Kinnunen for AAW Racing Team (Antti Aarnio-Wihuri)
Surtees TS16, I guess 1974 Anderstorp as its the only race he started, did not qualify but started when someone else could not take the start

When & where?

spot on, mate!

as you say: a sad end to a team that nearly won the championship in the 60s. They even had a racer after this one, but it never reached the grand prix circuit. This one was so feckless, it qualified with a gap of 6 secs to the next slowest. six seconds! I think it made the grid only once or twice that year.

Carlos Pace (Brabham), Carlos Reutemann (Brabham), Niki Lauda (Ferrari), James Hunt (Hesketh)

year 1975, GP Austria (it says "Kranken..." on a billboard in the background, and that should be my mother tongue, which is also spoken in Austria, the accent doesn't show in the written form, lol)

Also, Lauda was leading for most of the race with Hunt in hot pursuit, the two Brabhams are about to be lapped, I guess.

So close Eckhart, you got everything but the track.

(the race report for the track has Lauda chasing the 2 Brabhams - you had me wondering so I've had to check other pictures of that corner for to be sure)

Ben, they are Brabham BT44Bs, they do look great in the Martini&Rossi colours. One of the Rossi family has an immaculately restored one that he races very well in historic events.

well, there is this German poster in the back, I'd go for German GP then, however, the nordic languages share a root with ours, so might also be further up north.

edit: thx for the hint: must be Sweden, laps 1 to 6 saw those four cars in that order, positions 4-7, the final results for those racers: Lauda 1, Reuteman 2, Pace DNF, Hunt DNF
