My apologies Laurent. In that moment I considered it a "racing incident", but I certainly don't mind taking responsibility. That was actually good fun besides the incident with Rob.
Race 1 I was trying to hold on to Jason, for some time it worked and he was under pressure but the next 10 mins he drove flawlessly. I actually found a better line during race 2 going on that crystal palace straight that would have helped, that is also where he made the difference mostly.
Race 2 I had a good start and was quickly gaining positions but I also got caught up in that Paul and Steve incident sending me back. From my viewpoint it seemed as Paul almost braked on the straight there and Steve ran into him and me as well.. Since it was still the beginning of the race I had time to climb back up and did. I was chasing Rob, made the move for P1 and he clipped the right rear of my car with his nose sending me in a spin.. and he continued on and no sorry afterwards. This might be a fun race but this is certainly a golden rule situation and I'm not happy with that. Maybe he wanted P1 so bad, I don't know but the pace difference was too big anyway. I had a good battle overtaking Richard afterwards which was fun.
I think that was me Rob. You had already lost the car i think and i had nowhere to go other than help your already spinning car spin easier. Sorry all the sameMy apologies Laurent. In that moment I considered it a "racing incident", but I certainly don't mind taking responsibility.
Vintage cars aren't something I normally race, but I was a lot of fun! The amount of slip angle you can carry is really enjoyable. Race 1 was a challenge. I started mid-pack and got spun in T2 along with a few others. It did give me an opportunity to improve my lap times.
Race 2 - I had a good start and managed to do fairly well despite my incident with Laurent. Joao got past me, but went a little too deep at T1. I took the tighter line, but got unintentionally spun by the person in 3rd.
Again, sorry Laurent. Thanks to all for the good racing.
