Thanks for letting me join. Somehow qualified 4th. First time with the car and track tonight but it was fun. With just tires adjusted and increasing the top speed, the car felt good. It was the track that surprised me. I thought it'd be just the current donington looking old. I was very wrong! With no brake markers and such it was really tough trying to figure where to be. At race start, got bounced into the wall in T1 on lap 1 which sent the car flying. Then lost concentration down the hill and beached the car which meant the race was over. Sorry to whoever I collected in that one. After that it was best to shut it down vs get in people's way since resetting to the pits puts you a lap down.

Thanks @Craig Dunkley for always coming up with cool combos.

Must thank Ronnie for posting his setup, I am sure that would have helped out several drivers, including me

I did attempt to race in both races but sadly did not last long, just to uncomfortable.

Congrads to the podiums :thumbsup::thumbsup: and everybody that managed to finish :thumbsup:

Looks like Brand Hatch was the favored track for next week ..but we will be back here in the very near future for sure

glad to race tonight. I am very glad I didn't spun and didn't hit anybody as I did when I first drove this cars 5 months ago. So I progressed since then, which is good :D

Sorry guys for my absence, because today I cut a finger:(, more precisely the finger of honor, the emergency was overflowing with people:poop: and I go home that now, pffff and say I had been training all week. In summary, see you next race:thumbsup:.

Huge thanks to @Craig Dunkley for putting on tonight's race:thumbsup: really enjoyed it - well, the 2nd race anyway!

1st race; I seemed to find glitch in the space-time continuum - had a 'slight' off which turned into the car spinning through the air a gazillion times, then being stuck end-on on it's nose:laugh::roflmao: ... and immediately put me in the pits:O_o: Brands gets my vote for next time:whistling:

Happy with 2nd race, despite being taken off on the straight (wtf!) managed a top ten, which with an hour of using the car/track I was chuffed with.

Thanks again Craig, and have to say... had a play with the Renault @ Tor last night, simply amazing combo:thumbsup::D

Hey Ronnie, just wanted to say thanks for the setup, really appreciated - especially coming in with an hour or so to prepare:thumbsup:

Must thank Ronnie for posting his setup, I am sure that would have helped out several drivers, including me

You are very welcome. Though, I'm aware, that setups are a highly individual subject and not everybody drives the same way. I'll try to provide a setup earlier next time, even if it's just to get a hint about tire pressures and amount of fuel.

Thanks for another great Wendnesday race. I really love the combos! :inlove: Thank you @Craig Dunkley for organizing
Boy that track is great. I've had a blast just going as fast as I could in race one. The battles in race two were the cream on the cake though. I've had 2 moments at the hairpin when cars in my rearview mirror got really big, really fast, once I decided to stay wide, once to keep it really tight to avoid a crash and got lucky both times.

I'm already looking forward to the next wednesday combo

HINT: DRM at Feldbergring would be awesome one day (but I guess that's a bit much for a Wednesday ) (and I know the payware policy, but we've raced DRM a few times and it was epic :whistling:)

The track is good, what car/cars in the DRM pack would you advice?
I reckon for some Wednesday fun and close racing, the weaker "div. 2" cars (like the Lancia, the two small BMW and the Escord, all between 400 and 500 bhp) should be fine. That way we would drive them at least once and not just always the 935s, Capris and stuff.

Edit: Maybe they need some BOP anyway:
