Hi Andre,

-no, voting is not possible

-Changing to a specific track is possible either using the TrackCycle GUI by selecting the track from the list and pressing the button "change to selected track" or using the admin command
/change_track spa
or
/change_track ks_nordschleife,endurance
for tracks with different layouts (no space between track and layout, just a comma)

Best Regards,
Tom

Hey Tom,

Thanks for the fast reply first of all.
Do you plan to add that feature? This one would be awesome to have, sometimes they want to changes tracks and they cant because I cant be online 24/7 :D
What I was trying to say is like a queue, like you mark a track from the list to be the next one in queue even though its not the next on the list.

Best Regards
AndreD.

Hi Andre,

I added some new admin commands

/list_tracks command
/queue_track admin command
/vote_track command

It's now also possible to use the id shown in the track list with the commands, makes it a little easier.
The vote is very basic:
-you can only vote once per cycle, it doesn't matter when you vote (practice/qualify/race)
-the track with the most votes will be the next track, unless the server admin chooses something else
-if two tracks have the same amount of votes, none of them is used
Please let me know if it works.

Cheers,
Tom

Server is running with this new version. I'll let you know if I encounter some bugs.

Thanks for your support

Hi, I'm having issues with adding tracks. It seems to work with the example tracks you put into the readme but i'm just trying to add donington. Like this

TRACKS=doningtonpark,7,gp;spa,5;ks_nordschleife,endurance,3;mugello,7;nurburgring,7;silverstone,7;imola,7

But it does not work. keeps saying the string is wrong. What am i doing wrong? Where am i ment to get the track names from? i just thought it would be the track DIR? Any help would be fantastic. Cheers.

Hi,

you mixed the order, it is [track],[config],[laps]
try this
TRACKS=doningtonpark,gp,7;spa,5;ks_nordschleife,endurance,3;mugello,7;nurburgring,7;silverstone,7;imola,7

Cheers,
Tom

Hi Tom,

Thank you very much. That worked perfect. Must have been my dyslexia kicking in again. I compleatly missed it being the wrong order. Thanks again,

Hey Tom,
I am confused how to install plugins through the app. Can I add any plugin? If yes, how so?
<!--<add key="internal_plugins" value="OtherPluginNamespace.OtherPluginType, OtherPluginDLL"/>-->
<!--<add key="external_plugins" value="OtherPlugin, 11001, 127.0.0.1:12001"/>-->
Which line should I use?

Second question, I was trying to find one but I couldn't, maybe you know something, is there any way (app/plugin) to have on the server to get the Km/Miles driven by each player?

Best Regards
AndreD.

I wish I could do the automatic start of the service to restart the mime dedicated server, you can? without having to physically press the start button, you can? thank you so much

if you don't want to use the 'user interface'/'press buttons' just use the command line version of track cycle.
I might think about an auto start in the GUI for the next version, but I currently have no release plans.

Hey Tom, I use your app for start my server and to contact drivers by chat tab, I never used it for qualifying and race sessions... until a few weeks ago and unfortunately I had a problem with the transition from qualify to race session. Only some cars were slowly loaded on the grid and the other drivers they had to leave and return the server to be able to see the other drivers on the grid... have any suggestions about this bug? Thanks and sorry for my english! :p

Hi Andrew,

if the problem was solved by "client reconnect" I very much doubt it has anything to do with TrackCycle. And the transition from one session to another shouldn't be a problem either.

Please, if it happens again, check the server logs for any strange messages and check the CPU occupancy of the server and how much AC_TrackCycle.exe uses.

Cheers,
Tom

Good Evening! I need some help, I rent a 20 slot server and trying to get this running on it but nothing seems to be working.

Basically I have my folder for main server then another folder for this plugin which is under a different port as the main server.

I have followed the README as best as I could and have set the filedirectory path correct and as far as I know the ports and IP's are also correct but when in game no commands work and no sign of the plugin working.

The host has tried to setup a 6hr track rotation but still no commands in game working, here below is what the server console says regarding this plugin:

Could it be that acServer.exe is already running when you start AC_TrackCycle?
AC_TrackCycle is not a plugin in the conventional way that just listens and writes to the acServer UDP ports, but it has to start the acServer.exe itself.
