AC Abarth500/Mazda MX5@Zandvoort (2020), Wed 28th December 2022

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Apart from giving me a belly laugh, I am very flattered by all your comments
“ I think”
I wish you all a merry Christmas, and I thank you all for making 2022 such a great year for me, I would now think forward to 2023 , but as we still have 6 days to go I had better not push my luck.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I'm in, Han, MX5 of course.

I won't have much practice time but I have raced Zandvoort before. Maybe this time I will get the hang of it.

I'm not quite a pensioner yet but retirement is definitely on my mind. I'm still 11 years short of UK state pension age but I will be finishing up long before that, finances allowing. :)

Could I join in a Mazda please?
Hi Engli,

You are very welcome! But our events are for premium members only (14,99 euro/year, see tab PREMIUM how to upgrade). It gives you a lot more than only access to our events. In the Raceclub Weekly news item you can see which races we normally organize and host. For AC it are 3 per week.
Also if you decide to join, you have to enter your real name in your RDaccount/account details in the field Real Name. It's for internal use only so we know who you are.

Post here again or send me a PM when you have done both and I will give you the necessary information to participate.

Hope to see you on track!

Regards,
Han

Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

For the last race of the year, which falls on my vacation, I want to stay close to my family. And because we only did Assen a few weeks ago, my choice now falls on Zandvoort. But not the layout we raced on earlier this year, but the version modified for F1 with the banked corners.

Also a relaxing event for you because you don't have to learn a new track.

The old layout was slightly in favor of the Mazda, but now the banked corners can help the Abarth maintain their speed and have a better exit. So let's see if that makes a difference.
