I'm so happy for him, he was somehow my driver of the day, an underdog coming out of nowhere also god damn it stroll
Gasly out! Torpedo in!
While I agree on your point - they should not rush Alex into that Red Bull yet. On the other hand, I think that "performance" by Gasly was probably the final nail in the coffin for him...Kyvat drove a great race today, but I think I'd prefer Albon in the RB seat, he's really impressed me just a hair more than Kvyat this year.
i doubt it was only the orange army cheering, ofc he crashed right in front of them but from the camera at the 2nd straight pointing towards turn 1 you could see everyone getting up and cheering on the main straight as well. Even though we were in germany i think loads of people enjoyed seeing mercedes race going down the shitterMan what a race! As a Ferrari fan I feel bad for Bottas though.. And the orange army celebrating his crash leaves a bad taste in my mouth aswell. I don't understand how you can cheer that hard when a competitor goes off at that speed.
It was Alex.I watched the onboard cam and it looks that Gasly made a mistake. He had all the place to overtake and did it too short. I didnt see Kvyat moving on the right while the overtaking.
Bottas can't even pass him, huh?StrOlL iS onLy iN f1 bEcAuSe oF hIs DaDdy!!!111!
Just be happy that there is no "fan boost" like in Formula E...Verstappen voted driver of the day rather than Kvyat or Vettel.
Whats even the point of that voting anymore? Getting flooded by the orange army anyway.
Actually, I like to see albon in that seat but as it stands the red bulls think they can take the fight to Ferrari in current season's constructor championship, imagine if gasly (55points) could have just half of Max's points(162), they could be higher than Ferrari now. and for continuing that trend, i think they will see kvyat as a better temporary seat filler because of his experience and his recent form.Kyvat drove a great race today, but I think I'd prefer Albon in the RB seat, he's really impressed me just a hair more than Kvyat this year.
You are so lucky man, happy for you,Aww, this'll be the first time since France I'll have to watch the GP at home. I got spoilt by the fact that the two races this season I have been to (Austria and Britain) were the best two of the season by a country mile. Hopefully this isn't a curse on the rest of the season, and my presence was enough to coax F1 2019 into action!
Hockenheim is a great circuit, and the new layout is the best layout in the world right now for racing in any category. I think Austin is about the only other circuit on the F1 calendar that comes close to how much opportunity there is to overtake. The potential for cutbacks, multiple lines and battles lasting half a lap are absolutely massive at this layout.
If you think the old layout is better, just watch any Monza Grand Prix from 2001-2017 in the dry to see why low downforce configurations and a circuit made up of straights and chicanes creates crap races. Then watch Hockenheim 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2018 and see how overtaking happens everywhere and battles don't just stop happening after the hairpin. The old Hockenheim was only "good" because it was unique and the new one is perhaps the most underrated circuit in the world - because it gets so much hate despite being one of the best circuits for modern racing. Why do you think it's the home of the DTM?
the tifosi does this since i watch f1, its just how passionate people are all for their own team-driver .At the Canadian Grand Prix, the Ferrari Tifosi Red Army does the exact same thing. I have seen it in person.
Isn’t it refreshing to see the Mercs struggling? They are humans after all...
Race win, fasted lap, and a 360................so?Verstappen voted driver of the day rather than Kvyat or Vettel.
Whats even the point of that voting anymore? Getting flooded by the orange army anyway.
