I have to say that the nostalgia of classics makes me all warm and fuzzy, but I am rarely motivated to drive classic cars. I guess I'm just a fan of the technology and always want to drive the latest and greatest. Personally I'd prefer a modern class, but I'm sure it will be awesome whatever is planned.

I should also admit that the E30 M3 is probably my all time favourite car so I could be easily swayed

I think the modern ones will be a closer and more exciting championship though! I think i have to vote for modern

Personally, I find the modern DTMs boring and dry. I'm not saying they aren't challenging to drive, but the old ones are much more fun and sound waaaay better (mad screaming vs. Dyson vacuum cleaners)

I mean im up for whatever. I just think the equalness of the cars in the modern ones will make for a closer championship, while the old dtm cars are more fun to drive and watch ofcourse

Getting bored and was reading some old RDTCC topics, found "invited drivers" around 2009 or such, personally I love the idea....
