Thanks to bwoah for his help on finding drivers and staff around the world.
Thank you all for your patience.
The final release will come in few days although a intermediate version could come before.

To use this beta mod, remember to first backup your file "resources.assets" in your MM Data folder. Then uncompress your download in that same folder.

Will be included in 1.0:
All drivers have correct ages, numbers, physics, bios.
Made changes to better reflect real potential, fan popularity, abilities, marketability and sponsors attractiveness.
Added free drivers to reach a list of 197 real drivers. Not a single fake driver in the game!
All teams have real chairman, team principals, engineers, and mechanics with correct DOB and physics.
Some real free Team principals and engineers added.
Real names for competitions and organizations in all messages, tweets, press, conversation, or any other screen.
Real places for races. (Doha=>Bahrain, Ardennes=>Spa-Francorchamps, Barcelona, Monaco, Hockenheim, etc...)
Real logos for teams and sponsors.
Real medias with correct logos, real journalists and celebrities.
Drivers and staff with correct equipment colors.
Real Bernie Ecclestone :laugh:

quick quesiton on liveries do they look like that in the races as they do as the images in post #239 coz i installed last night and tested 1 race and the redbull and torro rosso looked different as they did in the main team screen.

ps awesome mod look forward to possible driver potraits of real drivers :)
 
Unfortunately, there aren't specific liveries for cars in races. Real shame honestly.

Sale thing goes for drivers portraits. Game uses on base and add hair, facial hair and glasses on it.
So no custom face possible. :(

And also I'm wondering why drivers like Lance Stroll and Antonio Giovinazzi have a low potential considering that Stroll has the ability to drive in F1 and Giovinazzi has a lot of potential in real life and could end up in F1 soon. Also, Gasly and Giovinazzi are kinda weak in GP2 in the game when in real life, Gasly won the championship and Giovinazzi was close to win it.
 
Dear Enzoli Great mod you are developing
I downloaded it yesterday and gave it a try but my game is not launching is it down to me having the Livery DLC or is there any thing that i have to do to make this work
I just extracted the file to MM Data folder and replaced with assets file and tried to launch it many times but game crashed every time with your assets file when i put back my old one it works

These mistakes have been found already with many others and corrected for next version:thumbsup:
Concerning drivers potentials, they were tweaked for real drivers but not yet for all 197 drivers.
I got help from BenRHJ who's lloking at drivers abilities, potential and the rest more closely.
So you can expect improved reality;)

Seems like a lot of people have this problem. And bwoah has helped someone already with no success. First of all you have to make sure you run on the version that mention ...20161128... in it.
Then we can go on.
I'm on many tasks at once here and it's hard for me to look any deeper right now.
But I promise once my mod is finished, if no one has come with a solution yet, I'll search for solutions.
 
Final version of Williams. Shame it's impossible to make continuous lines from top to sides.
Textures actually go through 3d parts so I had to remove some zones like on the nose.
So it's a bit fantasy and not perfect but I think it still looks better than with vanilla livery.

I had played around with the assetts bundle briefly, so know the basics.

My question is, can anyone point me to where the session lengths are? 60 min Qualy and practise are killing the mod for me. The AI just burnout tyres or don't even come out of the garage.

Don't worry about it, man. As long as we have something close to reality it'll be alright. Thank you for your dedication and hard work to provide this great mod to the community.

Search for "Simulation Settings" (textAsset) in resources.assets. You need to start a new game.
 
I didnt take a look at the unemployed drivers,but are there 2 dutch drivers in it? Giedo Van Der Garde and Robin Frijns and former Marussia driver Max Chilton,it would be great to see this guys again and give them a second change at the formula one. and they have a couple of euro's in there pockett to buy a seat;);)
